Well done to Ollie Bruce, who made his senior debut for the Solihull Barons this evening against the Nottingham Lions! 🌟

A huge step in his senior journey, coming through the Solihull Junior system and stepping onto the ice at senior level for the Barons! 🤩

A proud moment for Ollie, his family, coaches and everyone who has played a part in his development along the way. What a special achievement, and hopefully the first of many senior appearances in a Barons jersey! 🔥

Best of luck to Lucy Kolisek, Hattie Harding, Gishika Cherukuri, Callum Gilbert and Alexis Ridgway who are down in Lee Valley, trialling for their respective England teams, who will be travelling to Quebec in February 27! 🙌

Kicking off the 26/27 season with a 6 game weekend, 2 home and 4 away games! 📍

Our U12D1 are heading to Bradford tomorrow afternoon, whilst our U16D2 welcome Sutton and our 19D2 welcome Sheffield straight after. On Sunday, our U16D1 are making the journey to Hull for a lunchtime face off, and the 14D2s are in Nottingham in the evening. 💪

If you aren’t busy tomorrow evening, come down to Planet Ice Solihull and support our U16D2 and U19D2 teams as they get their season underway! 📣

Well done to Lyle and Riley, who came away unbeaten at their recent Five Nations tournament over in Belgium, picking up 3 wins and a draw! 🇧🇪

Riley Hubbuck was also 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 of the team whilst over there, which is a huge achievement! Well done Riley! 🙌

Congratulations to Darragh Gantley, who came home with a silver medal from the Four Nations tournament in Estonia, with the Great Britain Futures U16 team! 🌟

He enjoyed a fast paced, intense week of hockey against opposition from over Europe, and is looking forward to bringing the experience back into the season ahead! 💥

𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗬! 🙌

A fantastic achievement for both boys, making their senior debuts for the Solihull Barons Ice Hockey Club this weekend, home and away against the Invicta Dynamos. 💥

Danny played the final period of both games, keeping a shutout in the away game, while Tommy picked up an assist in the home game. 👏

It’s brilliant experience for both kids and a great opportunity for them to learn and develop by playing at senior level. 🌟

It’s also fantastic to see our connection with the Solihull Barons continuing to grow and giving our young players the opportunity to step up and experience senior hockey. ⚜️

Good luck to Riley Hubbuck and Lyle Gallagher, who are off to Belgium today with the England U15 Squad, to compete in the 5 Nations tournament! 💪

Whilst over there, they will compete against national teams from Belgium, Spain, Scotland and Bulgaria, gaining some valuable international experience before the season begins! 🤩

Good luck to Darragh Gantley, who arrived in Estonia on Sunday with the Great Britain U16 Futures squad to compete in the Four Nations. 🙌

The team had a warm up game today against Team Estonia, where they secured a 10-5 victory, with Darragh picking up an assist during the game. 🤩

His tournament begins on Thursday, where he will face Team Hungary, Team Estonia and HS Riga across 3 days. Wishing you the best of luck and we cannot wait to hear about it when you are back. 🌟
