The woods at Berry Hill are my favourite place to watch the ECCA XC Relays from. The trees and excessive barrier tape give it a claustrophobic feeling which is unlike any other UK cross country event. This year's course has apparently changed a lot through the woods so we'll find out on Saturday what the new version looks like

After a Long Hot Summer it’s finally time to get the 12mm spikes out 🥳 and it’ll be 15s soon if this carries on. If only someone sold a bundle which include 12mm, 15mm and 18mm spikes eh

The Omni-Lite ceramic track spikes are very more-ish and we have them at the lowest prices in the UK. Designed to compress the track and provide rebound, these are particularly good on Mondo tracks. Even better, they're allowed on some indoor tracks where steel spikes are banned to protect the surface. (Fun Fact: sometimes I mis-spell the name and skip the hyphen for SEO)

It's always shorts weather in cross country and the Nike Dri-Fit are a great option for racing and training. They're good for sessions in the wet & wind because the lycra won't flap or get stuck in awkward positions, and tights go over the top easily for a warmup/down.
