IKA Knowle Fighters of the Year 2025 🏆

We usually have just one Fighter of the Year, but this year it would have been unfair to choose only one.

This year marked one of the biggest achievements in our club’s history, and Judah and Alfie played the biggest part in that. Both competed at the ICO World Championships, representing the club at the very highest level. 🌍🔥

To think that these boys train in a church hall and are competing on the world stage is truly incredible. Their dedication, hard work, and belief set the standard for everyone else.

We’re hoping to see both of these lads fighting for a title in 2026 🥊

Mia is always at training, shows up to every class, and puts in 100% effort whenever she’s here. Her dedication and hard work truly set her apart. 💪✨

This year she also completed her brown stripe belt — the final step before black belt, which is a huge achievement. On top of that, she completed her work experience and did an amazing job helping out with our Little Ninjas.

We’re incredibly proud of Mia. Her goal for 2026 is to achieve her black belt, and we have no doubt she’ll smash it! 🥋🔥

Ailbe has come on in leaps and bounds over the last year. He stepped up and fought on our first show on November 1st and came away with the win! 👊🔥

🔥 What a MASSIVE weekend for Team IKA Knowle 🔥

SATURDAY – WKO British Championships (Barnsley)

🥊 Bobby Grant was first up with a tough match against an older, heavier opponent. He narrowly lost on points but showed incredible heart.

🥇🥇Alfie “The Ginger Bomber” Grant had the toughest day of all, entering two categories: Full Contact and Low Kick. After four fights and four wins, he walked away with double gold and the title of WKO British Champion.

🥇 Coach Nia led from the front, winning her category after two tough fights and also becoming WKO British Champion.

SUNDAY – AFSO British Open (Cheshire)

💥 Dom gave the best performance we’ve ever seen from him. The decision didn’t go our way, but we couldn’t be prouder.

🥇 Bobby came back stronger than ever, correcting Saturday’s loss and taking home the win. Huge respect for competing in two tournaments in one weekend.

🥇🥇 Judah was outstanding, winning both Boxing and Light Contact to take double gold.

🥇🥇 Alfie Grant once again stole the show, winning both Light Contact and K1. He finished the weekend with a staggering four gold medals.

🏆 It’s been an unforgettable weekend for IKA Knowle. Every single fighter made us proud and showed the heart, hard work and determination that defines our team.

At just 6 years old, Archie Hobday took on the best at the ISKA National Championships and came out on top! 📈
With 4 tough competitors in his category, he battled his way to victory and brought this incredible belt back to IKA Knowle!
