I love online coaching. COVID-19 has made so many people see and find new angles for many things!
One of the things thats been fantastic is what can be achieved via online coaching! The Innovate website, phone calls, FaceTime, zoom, teams etc etc and that’s whilst we are locked down. I can’t wait to see what’s going to be achieved moving forward from the 12th 😬😬😬
The way people have been able to adapt and overcome 👏🏽👏🏽 has been fantastic.
One thing that’s been so important whilst we’ve been locked down is nutrition.......

This is incorrect.
There are certain metabolic effects caused in the body by different calories.
These calories come from different sources
These sources are macro nutrients.
There are 3 primary macro nutrients
Proteins
Fats
Carbs
To maximise results you have to get these in line.
Of course it’s important to have that balance, but you need to understand what’s going on to create that balance.

We know gyms are scheduled to open on the 12th of April - Thats what, just over 4 weeks.
We know when gyms were open before, how hard it is to get real results.
We know without structure to your training you are not going to see any real progress.
We know without a plan of attack motivation to execute will eventually be lost.
So what do we do……….Let me tell you!
We start making small Changes NOW!
Not tomorrow
Not next Monday
Not next month
RIGHT NOW
FIVE things to get you going!!!!!!!

1. Increase your daily intake of water.
(Water carries nutrient to the cells, aim for around the 2L mark per day)

2. Our bodies are designed to move. So start moving.
(Increase your daily activity levels, even if you can only fit in a brisk walk in the evening, its a start)

3. Eat little and often, every 3-4 hours with some source of protein in each meal. Including breakfast.
(Blood sugar levels stabilise and it provides you with consistently high energy levels)

4. Carbohydrates are not the enemy.
(Try and get your carb intake from mainly complex carbs and limit your simple carb
Intake)

5. Set GOALS
(It is hard to stay motivated, dedicated to the source without goals) what’s YOUR process, what’s YOUR outcome goals?
These small changes will help YOU build momentum so when the gyms open, you are one step a head.

If you want to get leaner - drop to a calorie deficit.
If you want to get bigger - increase to a calorie surplus
What’s the saying
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great” So
Be the greatest YOU can be, why settle for anything less?? 🤷🏽‍♂️
When you get that focus & start training like an athlete you will never look back.

What do you do, you get a coach to give you that little bit of extra help to get you on track.

Don’t think its you vs us because it’s not, when we ask you for stats it’s because WE need to know where you are to work out where WE need to go next.

I’m talking to you with this one.
I GET IT, I really do
Wether you’re trying to run a business or you’re working a 09 - 17. We are trying to provide the best start for our children.
Feed them, Cloth them, Keep them Active, Educate them, Give Them Our Time, etc etc
You are trying to do everything you can to make them as happy as they could possibly be whilst they progress as a human being!
IT’s HARD right 🤷🏽‍♂️ I mean f*ck me it’s hard.
And now we have been told we are in another lock down 😩
This is the grind I’m talking about, it never stops. EVER
The Grind Is Well & Truly Real
(sometimes we have to find unpleasant hours to get s**t done)
I challenge anyone to tell me I’m wrong.
This is why it’s so important that we are on top of your own mental health. Other wise this sh*t will break us down, FAST
And who suffers, the people we are trying our best to do right by 🤷🏽‍♂️
Some things that have been well and truly instilled in me whilst serving, one that helps me in day to day life NOW more than ever is -
ROUTINE - routine is crucial - It,
*Makes Us More Efficient
*Creates Structure in Our Lives
*Saves Time, {Our Most Valuable Resource}
*Instills Good Habits
*Helps Us Become More Proficient
*Prioritisation
*Reduces Procrastination
*Builds Self Confidence
*Helps Reduce Stress and Facilitate Relaxation

Tier 4 was inevitable.
While we have all been enjoying Christmas, well Christmas food 😳
🌮🍔🍕🍟🥞🧇🍪🍩🍦🍨🍧🍮🥧🍰🎂🍭🍫🍬🥐🧀 😳
And that’s just some of the foods I’ve been eating!
& 0 training has been done.
Do I feel guilty........ Nope 🤷🏽‍♂️
It’s all about balance, I needed a break like everyone else!
We all knew at the back of our minds the tiering system was going to catch up with us at some point, I think we were just being in denial but lo & behold here we are.
I have a plan!
We all have health & fitness goals ready to attack the new year!
So we can’t let this minor set back stop or even slow us down!
Ok the gyms are closed 🤦🏽‍♂️
So f**king what....... does that mean you can’t get results..... No it doesn’t. That’s just a way out, an excuse to not start yet.
Gyms are a privilege
I’ve managed to work on my health, improve my fitness, increase my strength and stay mentally sane in some of the hardest surrounding in the world.
So for ME to get YOU in a good place Mentally and Physically in our own country, surrounded by our loved ones, with supermarkets to get good food isn’t a problem.
I HAVE GOT IT, I HAVE GOT YOU COVERED!
All I need from you is commitment.

Being Healthy, being Fit and being Active is important in my life yes……. .

Here’s why .

I am a farther of 3 VERY active children, they are active because I am active, they are healthy because I am healthy……..

I set the standard and the standard is high.
The day I become lazy, they become lazy. The day I eat s**t, they eat s**t. The day I roll over and give up on anything, they will think its ok to roll over and give up…… It’s NOT ok. .

You set the standard for the life you want to live, why settle for anything other than your best life.
The term dad bod is just another word for lazy b@stard, being lazy is something we are not designed to be. .

Your kids deserve the best you, the world deserves the best you, most importantly you deserve the best you. .

The Healthiest!
The fittest!
The strongest!
The happiest!
