We have yet to have to buy hay…a lot of yards say they are 24/7 turnout, there is a difference between 24/7 turnout and 24/7 grazing, I make sure the land is not over run with horses and we are able to rotate and save those pennies on ordering hay until the winter.

The horses are happy, munching away, they are all full bellied and going into winter healthy and happy .. that’s worth every penny!!

Just going to leave this here … “just grass livery” means you are just getting forage, natural shelter, field rotations, year round grazing, we aren’t having to buy hay yet, we have fields resting waiting for the winter, standing hay ready to be moved on to and a whole bunch of natural forage that the horses are enjoying, worth every penny I’d say!!

The horses were loving the shade today, it was a scorcher .. all had showers too, to help keep them cool… the fly rugs actually help deflect the heat, none of them were sweating .. apart from the fat boy stav but that his coat he always hates the heat, he is built for the cooler months 😎
