Race Report 🏁

Race 2 & 3 at Cadwell Park. What a way to end the weekend 🏆🏆

Race 2 - started from pole, got a good start but struggled to find a rhythm. Chattering through Charlie’s 1 and 2 made it tough and I was making silly mistakes. Spent the last few laps managing a small lead over Sam Hirst Racing and Michael Mills - then looked over my shoulder and Millsy was right there.

He came down the inside at Mansfield on the last lap and he covered all bases and rode very well defensively. My only option was to risk it all out of the last corner. Got a good drive, slipstreamed him down the straight and literally just pipped him on the line.
7 thousandths of a second -0.007 😱

Massive well done to Michael Mills - he really deserved that win and I almost felt bad about it. Almost 😂

Race 3 - made a suspension adjustment before the race to fix the chattering, big thanks to Leask Racing - Precision Motorcycle Suspension 🙏 Started P2, led from lap one. Millsy unfortunately tipped off at the chicane on lap 1 - once I saw the gap I just focused on riding my own race, staying consistent and looking after the rear tyre.

Crossed the line P1 making it a triple victory for the weekend🏆🏆🏆

75 more points in the bag and some incredible racing all weekend at one of the best circuits on the calendar.

Thinking of all those involved in the start line incident this weekend - get well soon to you all. And a massive thank you to every Bemsee marshal, medic and official. You do an outstanding job and we wouldn’t be able to do what we love without you 🙏

I also want to apologise to my sponsors - the crash at Donington left me short on time to get the graphics sorted on the bike, meaning some of them were not displayed this weekend. I absolutely could not be out there without every single one of you and I will make sure it is sorted before the next round.

What a race 😅😮‍💨🤏🏼

🏁 What. A. Finish. 🏁

Race 2 of the MRO600 / Next Gen class delivered a finish that perfectly demonstrates why we love motorcycle racing.

After a race-long battle, AJ took the chequered flag by the narrowest of margins, beating Michael Mills to the line by just 0.007 seconds.

Not seven tenths. Not seven hundredths.

Seven thousandths of a second.

You could hardly separate them with a sheet of Rizla paper.

Congratulations to AJ on the win, and massive respect to Michael Mills for pushing him all the way to the flag in one of the closest finishes of the weekend.

This is club racing at its very best. 🏍️💨

Race 1 - P1 🏆

Got a really good start from P3 and led into turn 1. Tried to get a couple of decent laps in early on the fresh tyres to see what the pace was like - the bike felt a lot better than qualifying. Still not perfect but miles better!

Really gutted to see Sam Hirst Racing pull off during the race - in complete honesty I think he had more pace than me today and it would have been a brilliant battle between us.

Crossed the line P1. Happy with the lap time but still a bit more to find with the overall feeling of the bike. Work in progress 👊 Let’s see what tomorrow brings 🏁

Practice day was a bit of a struggle if I am being honest - a few set up gremlins that we worked through and improved a little but still not quite where we want to be.

Qualifying was tricky too, only managed 2 or 3 clean laps with traffic making it hard to find clear track. Bike still carrying some of the same issues from Friday so couldn’t quite put a fast lap together.

That said - starting from P3 on the front row. New set of tyres going in for the race so let’s see what we can do 👊

Massive congratulations to Sam Hirst on pole - he was absolutely flying🏆

Race week! 🏍️

Spent the bank holiday weekend getting the finishing touches done on the bike after Donington - and this little one decided she wanted in on the action too 😄

Cadwell Park, we leave Thursday. Cannot wait to get back out there 🏁

After the crash at Donington the fairings took a beating 🥴 been busy fibreglassing and getting them ready for fresh paint before the next round.
