POLE. WIN. THREE PODIUMS. AND A WEEKEND OF FIRSTS. 💥

What a weekend at Donington for Adam Shepherd, Barry John McHenry and the Vannin Motorsport team! 👊

Adam came out firing from the very start…

⚡ POLE POSITION
🥇 RACE 1 — WIN
🥈 RACE 2 — P2 from the reverse top-10 grid
🥉 RACE 3 — P3

Adam set the tone by sticking it on POLE, before converting that pace into a brilliant Race 1 victory! 🏆🔥

Then came the fightback…

Starting further down the order on the reverse grid for Race 2, Adam charged his way through to a superb P2. 💨⚔️

Another hard-fought P3 in Race 3 rounded off an incredible weekend.

3 RACES. 3 PODIUMS. 🥇🥈🥉

But it wasn’t just Adam making headlines at Donington… 👀

It was also a weekend of TCR UK firsts for the Audi, with the car lining up on the FRONT ROW FOR ALL THREE RACES! 🔥

Not bad for a car we keep being told “won’t work on UK tracks”… 😉😂

Pole position and three front-row starts later, the old Audi seems to have missed that memo. 👀🔥

A huge step forward and a real indication of what this package can do when everything comes together.

Barry John McHenry was right in the mix too, putting together his strongest performances of the weekend and taking his best results of the meeting, adding to a seriously positive weekend across both sides of the Vannin garage. 💪

⏱️ DONINGTON PARK NATIONAL QUALIFYING RESULT ⏱️

It's like he's never been away 😎

Adam Shepherd Racing sets a new qualifying lap record to take pole position in the Vannin Motorsport Audi for the first of three races at Donington Park tomorrow.

Callum Newsham Racing will start from second place in the JHRacing Hyundai.

Row two will see Harry Bloor Racing start from third with title contender Max Hart racing completing the second row.

Race one starts the action tomorrow at 9:10am.

🏁 THE #1 IS BACK… FOR DONINGTON! 🏁

The wait is over… the iconic #1 returns to the TCR UK Championship this weekend at Donington Park National.

We’re delighted to welcome Adam to the Vannin Motorsport family. Having been long-term friends, it felt only right to come together and compete in the championship where it all began.

With TCR Europe taking its summer break, the timing couldn’t be better for Adam to join us in the Vannin Motorsport Audi RS3 TCR for the Donington round of the TCR UK Championship.

Adam will be behind the wheel of our Audi RS3 TCR, the very same car we’ve recently campaigned to great effect in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour, bringing international experience back to the TCR UK grid.

Donington has always been a special place for us, and we can’t wait to see Adam behind the wheel of the iconic #1 for the first time this season.

Long-time friends. Shared ambition. Back where it all began.

To line up together in the championship that gave us so many memories means a lot to us. We couldn’t think of a better place than Donington to do it.
