Hi Everybody,
Hope you are all safe and hunkered down. Really sorry to announce that Battle Stations Snetterton and Battle Stations Revesby are going to close this weekend.
Unfortunately, the Weather has battered the site's today, and we want to ensure that we can do a full assessment of the damage and conduct repairs before we can reopen safely.
We hope to carry out a full assessment tomorrow at both sites tomorrow and start repairs, but with the weather looking bad for Sunday and Monday we do not want to put anyone in danger. As much as we want to run, we feel that we can not rush the issue just to get a game on. With this in mind, we feel we have no alternative but to shut down for the weekend.
The safety of you our Players and our Team is the most important aspect of everything that we do and BSA and we want to ensure that this is not compromised in any way.
The dangers of debris on-site, around the sites, travel conditions to and from the sites, weather conditions and the possibility of power outages, have all played a part in this decision.
We know that you would love nothing more to game this weekend as we would love to host you, but we would never forgive ourselves if any member of the Battle Stations family came to any harm.
We have not taken this decision lightly but your safety and the safety of our Team must come first.
All money paid will be carried forward to your next event or will be fully refunded. We will automatically push your booking to next weekend so that it stays on the booking system and you will get an email to confirm this by the end of the weekend. However, if you want to change that date or want to claim your refund please email us with you, booking ref, to [email protected].
We are also looking at the prospect of postponing the lift of Battle Town by a week and running at BSA 1 again next weekend. More details to follow.
From all of us at BSA please stay safe, and we will see you shortly.
