Performance isn’t just about horsepower; it’s also about controlling the heat that comes with it. 🔥

Since partnering with Zircotec, we’ve enhanced the thermal protection across our BTCC race cars using a combination of ThermoHold® ceramic coatings, ZircoFlex® flexible heat shielding and ZircoFlex® SHIELD engineered heat shields.

Why does that matter? 💡

Every BTCC race car generates enormous amounts of heat from the exhaust system, turbocharger and surrounding powertrain components. Without effective thermal management, that heat can impact nearby electronics, composites and other critical systems, ultimately affecting reliability and performance.

By applying Zircotec’s advanced thermal management technologies, we’re able to reduce radiant heat transfer, protect critical components and maintain consistent performance throughout the demands of a race weekend.

It’s technology that’s been proven at the very highest level of motorsport. Zircotec’s thermal management solutions are trusted across Formula 1, the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the World Rally Championship (WRC), IndyCar, MotoGP, NASCAR, IMSA and numerous GT and Hypercar programmes, bringing decades of engineering expertise to our BTCC campaign.

Qualifying day at Donington Park, we were proud to welcome 40 Toyota Corolla GR builders from Toyota Manufacturing Burnaston factory to the circuit, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at the team and the cars they help bring to life.

From getting up close in the garages and watching the battle for pole, to heading onto the grid and getting exclusive talks from our Team Principal, Christian Dick, it was a brilliant day shared with the people behind the scenes at Toyota.

As a team backed by Toyota, there’s something special about bringing the two sides together at the circuit — connecting the people who build these incredible road cars with the people who race them.

A huge thank you to everyone from Toyota Manufacturing (Burnaston) for joining us 🙌🏽🏁
