A weekend on paper that would be the worst-case scenario, but not for the 11Tenths Racing Team! We worked all winter to build a new car for the 2025 season. Unfortunately, the car rolled in the final hour of practice.
The team had less than 24 hours until qualifying to straighten it out. After an incredible effort, the last bolts were still tightened while the cars were called for assembly. We made it out with our freshly bent car and qualified third! Sunday, we went into battle for 12 hours, and we were able to keep a steady pace. Unfortunately, a fuelling issue cost us what could have been our best result to date. However, we matched our best finish, 7th, with a last-lap overtake in the dark hours of the night.
Yet again, we cannot thank the team enough for their immense effort! Also, a huge thank you to the circuit staff, marshalls, and scrutineers for getting us back safely and the teams that helped with parts and tools! Unfortunately, we will miss the next round, but hopefully, we will return for Donington in July! 💪👍
