Welcome to the page for Streetline Defence Kimura Shukokai Karate Club established in 1991 still going strong with Shukokai Karate Federation. Our club is run by Sensei Akid Iman 7th Dan who has been an active member of the SKF as a student, instructor, England Squad member and is the current England Squad kumita head coach. The art of Kimura Shukokai is the style practised at Streetline
Defence and follows the teachings of the late Master Kimura 10th Dan, whom Shihan Daniels and Sensei Akid was a direct student. Sensei Akid still continues to train with the KSI World Chief Instructors on a regular basis. Karate is for everyone, so whether it is competitive Karate that you are looking for, then we actively attend regular championships catering for all grades, male & female, children & adult events. Or you may just want to train to keep fit and learn the in-depth technical side of Kimura Shukokai. Sensei Akid is also a fully qualified and experienced personal trainer and also teaches boxing and MMA in addition to Karate.
