🏆 CHECKOUT SLOUGH SUNDAY LEAGUE CHAMPIONS – OLD HESTONIANS 🏆

Old Hestonians are the 2026 Checkout Slough Sunday League champions, successfully retaining their title after another dominant campaign.

They finished with 128 points from 15 matches, winning 13 and losing only two, ending a huge 28 points clear of AL-FALAQ Champions in second. Their +2.631 net run rate was comfortably the best in the division and reflected just how emphatic many of those victories were.

The batting depth was formidable. Zakir Ali led the way with 475 runs from 12 innings at an average of 118.75, passing fifty seven times. Adnaan Haq struck 441 runs at 88.20, while Pankaj Arora added 400 at a strike rate of 228.57. Khurram Gouhar made 340, Mohammed Ali 314 and Zeeshan Gauher 297, ensuring there was rarely any respite for opposition attacks. Arpit Chahal was another extraordinary contributor, hammering 277 runs in just six innings at a strike rate of 311.24, with five fifties.

With the ball, Salman Gauher led the attack superbly, taking 22 wickets at 16.41, including best figures of 4/18. Zeeshan Gauher claimed 15 wickets, Jamal Ali took 10, while Pankaj Arora and Adnaan Haq picked up eight apiece.
The champions produced some crushing victories along the way, beating London Strikers by 107 runs, Witty Wobblers by 57 and recording another 96-run victory in late May. Their only two defeats came in the first half of the campaign, and after losing to The Bouayz on 28 June they responded like champions, winning their final six league matches.

That run included a 37-run win over Witty Wobblers, a seven-wicket victory over second-placed AL-FALAQ Champions and a huge 112-run success over The Bouayz before signing off with another victory on 9 August.

Thirteen wins from fifteen, a 28-point winning margin and back-to-back titles.

🏆 CHECKOUT SLOUGH DIVISION 4 CHAMPIONS – UPTON GENERALS II 🏆

Upton Generals II are the 2026 Checkout Slough Division 4 champions, completing a superb league double for the club after the first team also lifted the Division 2 title.

The Generals finished with an outstanding 148 points from 18 matches, winning 15 and losing just three. They ended 13 points clear of Cippenham Cavaliers, while their imposing +2.108 net run rate was comfortably the best in the division.

Crucially, Upton also completed the double over their nearest challengers. They beat Cippenham by 23 runs in May after posting 227/3, then won the return fixture by six wickets in July — two results which carried huge significance in the eventual title race.

The batting numbers were exceptional. Faaris Ali produced a remarkable season, scoring 738 runs from 18 innings at an average of 147.6, with nine fifties and a highest score of 92. Muhammad Yar amassed 487 runs at 162.33, striking at over 220 and passing fifty eight times, while Zain Awan added 459 runs with five fifties.

The firepower continued throughout the order. Shahrukh Ali struck 327 runs at 65.4 and a strike rate of 235.25, while Mohammad Mohsin Rasheed hammered 260 runs at 130, including a top score of 90. It was a batting line-up capable of putting games beyond opponents very quickly.

That showed repeatedly in the results. Upton beat Langley Stars by 118 runs, Kashmir CC by 80 runs in June and then by 85 runs in August, while Berkshire Zalmi II were beaten by 61 runs. Scores above 200 became a regular feature of their campaign, including 229/2 against Berkshire Zalmi II and 249/5 against Kashmir CC.

After their third and final defeat against Aptus Estates on 30 July, Upton responded exactly as champions should, winning their final four matches to finish the job.

Fifteen wins, huge batting performances and decisive victories over their closest rivals — a commanding title campaign.

🏆 CHECKOUT SLOUGH DIVISION 3 CHAMPIONS – SEHNSA TIGERS 🏆

Sehnsa Tigers are the 2026 Checkout Slough Division 3 champions after coming out on top in one of the tightest title races of the Slough season.
They finished with 122 points from 16 matches, winning 11 and losing five, edging Langley Challengers by just two points despite Langley recording 12 victories. Sehnsa’s dominance when they did win is reflected in an outstanding +1.942 net run rate, comfortably the best in the division.

Their batting was one of the strongest units in the league. Sohail Qaiser led the scoring with 485 runs at 60.63, striking at over 200 and passing fifty five times. Farhaan Khan was equally influential, compiling 418 runs at 69.67 with six fifties, while Ejaz Khan Ahmed added 398 runs at a strike rate above 200.

Mubashar Iqbal contributed 365 runs at 52.14, and Zain Khan made 309 runs at 77.25, giving Sehnsa enviable depth throughout the order.

Farhaan’s contribution extended well beyond the bat. He also topped Sehnsa’s bowling with 15 wickets at 21.27, including a best of 3/15. Annas Khan collected 13 wickets, while Abeel Chaudhry and Mubashar Iqbal took 12 each, Mubashar producing the side’s best figures of 4/13.

Sehnsa were capable of blowing teams away, and some of their winning margins underline just how dangerous they were. They beat Quick & Easy Strikers by 93 runs in May before hammering GR8 Connect by 98 runs in June. A second meeting with Quick & Easy brought another emphatic 87-run victory, while August saw them defeat Reckitt by 91 runs as the championship battle reached its decisive stages.

In a division where there was almost no margin for error, those big performances mattered. A powerful batting line-up, a balanced attack and the ability to turn victories into emphatic ones ultimately carried Sehnsa Tigers over the line.

🏆 CHECKOUT SLOUGH DIVISION 2 CHAMPIONS – UPTON GENERALS 🏆

Upton Generals are the 2026 Checkout Slough Division 2 champions after producing a powerful campaign built on depth, firepower and a relentless finish to the season.

They ended the league on 118 points from 16 matches, winning 12 and losing just 4, with a superb net run rate of 1.285. In a competitive division, that was enough to finish six points clear of Outlaws A, while Punjab Lions and Maidenhead Royals were left further back. The table tells its own story: when the pressure came on, Upton found another gear.

And that finish was emphatic. After a mixed spell in the middle of the season, Upton closed out the campaign with 10 consecutive victories, turning a strong season into a title-winning one. That run included a crucial 8-wicket win over Outlaws A on 18 August, a result that went a long way towards settling the championship race, and they signed off by beating Slough Strikers by 20 runs in their final fixture.

There was quality everywhere in the batting card. Faaris Ali led the way with 539 runs in 16 innings at 67.38, including a century and four fifties, while also striking at 169.5. If consistency mattered, explosiveness mattered too, and Shahrukh Ali provided plenty of it, smashing 441 runs in just 8 innings at an average of 220.5 and an extraordinary strike rate of 302.05, with seven fifties. Mohammad Mohsin Rasheed was another major weapon, blasting 430 runs at 143.33, while Adil Azeem added 349 runs, and Zain Awan chipped in with 347.

With the ball, Upton were just as well equipped. Faaris Ali completed a brilliant all-round season by topping the wickets chart with 16 wickets, including a best of 5/17. Adil Azeem backed that up with 9 wickets, while Pushant Prashar and Nayeemul Islam claimed 6 each, giving the side balance and control throughout the campaign.

A team with big scorers, multiple match-winners and a title-defining winning streak at exactly the right time, Upton Generals fully earned their place as 2026 Checkout Slough Division 2 champions.

🏆 CHECKOUT SLOUGH DIVISION 1 CHAMPIONS – JK CC 2NDS 🏆

JK CC 2nds are the 2026 Checkout Slough Division 1 champions after a superbly consistent season in which they set the standard across the summer.

They finished top of the table with 145 points from 18 matches, recording 16 wins, one draw and just one defeat. House Of Lions 2s pushed them hard, but JK eventually finished 10 points clear of their nearest challengers, with a healthy +1.407 net run rate completing an outstanding league campaign.

That consistency was backed up by a batting unit with runs throughout the order. Nasir Mahmood led the way with 519 runs from 15 innings at an average of 57.67, passing fifty five times. Hamad Malik was equally influential, striking 461 runs at 46.10 and an exceptional strike rate of 217.45, also with five fifties. Zain Zafar and Saqib Kayani both contributed 279 runs, while Abhinandan Saini made a huge impact in just four innings, scoring 204 runs at an average of 102 and a strike rate of 258.23.

The bowling was shared around just as effectively. Raja Bilal finished as the side’s leading wicket-taker with 11, closely followed by Zain Zafar with 10, while Saqib Kayani, Raja Ahsan and Hassan Tanvir all took nine wickets apiece.

Perhaps the clearest example of JK’s championship quality came against second-placed House Of Lions 2s. Having already beaten them earlier in the season, JK completed the double in the return fixture on 27 August. House Of Lions posted a formidable 194/7, with Arslan Butt making 54 and Waleed Malik 52 not out, but JK chased it down in just 16 overs to win by three wickets. Rajesh Sharma produced a sensational 89 from 28 balls* and Abhinandan Saini smashed 55 from 17*, the pair taking apart a demanding chase in emphatic style.

Sixteen wins from eighteen, contributions across the squad and a statement victory over their closest rivals when it mattered most.

🏏 SOUTH EAST REGIONAL FINALS – SEMI-FINALS & FINAL 🏆

Four teams remained at Burnham CC, with a chance for the South East Regional Final title.

Matador 8s faced an Aylesbury Outlawz side with serious pedigree — former national champions, multiple-time Regional Finals winners and one of the biggest-hitting teams around.

Matador answered that pedigree with a superb batting display of their own. Pavinder Bhachu smashed 52 from 23 balls*, with Humza Ishaq 41, Rahim Akhtar 34 from 16 and Hamzah Afzaal 33 helping them post an imposing 204/4.

Aylesbury responded in typical fashion. Ahsan Malik produced a brutal 70 from just 21 balls, including nine sixes, while Zawar Hussain made 47 and Shabaz Alam 36. But Matador kept taking wickets, Muhammad Ibrahim Zafar returning an excellent 3/15, and Aylesbury were dismissed for 184 to send Matador through by 20 runs.

The other semi-final brought together two familiar Slough heavyweights, and Syed Sikandar Mehdi took control of the innings with a magnificent 87 not out from 49 balls.

Najeeb Bashir Malik added a rapid 46 from 24 to lift Warriors to 167/7, before completing a superb all-round display with 3/33 as Super Spartans were restricted to 134/8. Raheem Sher made 36 and Farhaan Khan 34, but Warriors ran out 33-run winners to set up an all-Slough final.

The final itself became the perfect finish to a superb day.

Warriors had to scrap for 129/7, with Sahaan John making 32, Haseeb Haider 31 from 17 and Donald McDonald 26. Matador’s bowlers kept the pressure on throughout, with Rahim Akhtar taking 2/18 and earning Player of the Match.

Matador’s chase ebbed and flowed throughout, with neither side able to take decisive control. The game remained finely balanced from start to finish, and Hamzah Afzaal’s unbeaten 47 kept Matador firmly in the contest right to the final delivery.

With four needed to tie and five to win from the last ball, Warriors held their nerve with a dot ball to close out a dramatic four-run victory.

After seven matches, a day packed with quality and a final decided on the last ball, Slough Warriors were crowned 2026 South East Regional Champions. 🏆

🏏 SOUTH EAST REGIONAL FINALS – QUARTER-FINALS

Eight teams arrived at Burnham CC with the South East title in their sights, and the opening round produced everything from a ruthless chase to a 388-run shootout.

Slough Super Spartans made the quickest statement of the day, dismantling Wycombe Capitals for just 76/8. Ali Akbar Raja (3/14) and Mubashar Iqbal (3/17) shared six wickets as Wycombe struggled for momentum, Harsh Patel’s 25 their best resistance. Spartans then made short work of the chase, Farhaan Khan 44* and Raheem Sher 36* completing an eight-wicket victory without losing a batsman. Raja took Player of the Match honours.

Slough Warriors were equally convincing against MK Stallions. Stallions posted 144/7, but Warriors controlled the chase throughout. Haseeb Haider earned Player of the Match with an unbeaten 50 from 35 balls after also taking 1/29, while Donald McDonald smashed 40 from 22* and Syed Sikandar Mehdi provided a blistering late 25* from nine. Warriors reached 146/1 in 17 overs to win by seven wickets.

There were runs everywhere as Matador 8s chased down CMT Trust’s imposing 166/5. CMT’s Shafqat Ullah struck 50 from 27* and was named Player of the Match despite defeat, but Matador produced a superb collective response. Humza Ishaq 54, Pavinder Bhachu 52 and Rahim Akhtar 50* all reached half-centuries as Matador got home at 170/2 with three balls remaining.

The highest-scoring quarter-final saw Aylesbury Outlawz rack up 202/2 against JK CC 2nds. Toqeer Hussain hammered 56 from 29*, with Ahsan Malik adding 48 from 23, Shabaz Alam 46* and Zawar Hussain 40*. JKCC 2nds refused to disappear quietly, though, as Abhinandan Saini produced a magnificent 83 from just 37 balls and Ahsan Jarral made 50. Saini’s performance earned him Player of the Match, but Toqeer completed an excellent all-round game with 3/31 as JK finished 186/8, 16 runs short.

That left Super Spartans, Slough Warriors, Matador 8s and Aylesbury Outlawz standing — and the South East Regional Finals were down to four. 🔥🏏

🏆🏆 SLOUGH WARRIORS — 2026 DOUBLE WINNERS 🏆🏆

A season to remember for Slough Warriors, who have completed the double as Checkout Slough Premier League champions and South East Regional champions.

The Premier League title was anything but straightforward. Warriors finished on 102 points from 14 games, just one point ahead of Matador 8s and two clear of Super Spartans in an incredibly tight three-way race.

Their success has been built on remarkable depth.

Syed Sikandar Mehdi has led the batting with 402 runs at 57.43, striking at 187.85 with four fifties. Haseeb Haider has been outstanding with both bat and ball, scoring 363 runs at 45.38 while also taking 16 wickets.

Donald McDonald has piled up 295 runs at an average of 59 and strike rate of 195.36, while Najeeb Bashir Malik has contributed 281 runs and 12 wickets. Sahaan John has added 275 runs and 10 wickets, underlining just how many different match-winners this Warriors side possesses.

Led superbly throughout the season by captain Syed Bukhari, with club captain Raghav Sharma and Ali Jan also playing important roles behind the scenes.

And those players stepped up again on Regional Finals Day.

Haider was Player of the Match against MK Stallions, finishing unbeaten on 50 from 35 balls, while McDonald struck 40* from 22 and Mehdi smashed 25* from only nine deliveries.

Mehdi then produced arguably the individual performance of the Warriors’ day in the semi-final, earning Player of the Match with a superb 87 not out from 49 balls. Najeeb added a rapid 46 from 24 before returning 3/33 with the ball.

In the final, when runs were harder to come by, Sahaan John’s 32, Haider’s 31 from 17 and McDonald’s 26 helped Warriors scrap their way to a defendable total before they held their nerve in that unforgettable last-ball finish.

Warriors now head to the last 16 of the National Finals as Slough’s representatives. The last time they completed the Premier League and Regional double, in 2018, they went all the way to the National Final. We hope they can go one better this time. 🏆🔥
