Hi,

Quick introduction about who I am and what I do!

I’m Natasha, I’m a mum of two and I have been running Simple-Changes for over 22years supporting women through every stage of life. I’m a bit of a geek and have a habit of doing new courses regularly!

I’m here to support you, I’m currently going through Perimenpause, recovering from abdominal surgery and trying to balance 2 kids and running my own business which I love!!

I offer a range of services designed specifically for women, including:

• Pregnancy Pilates and Mums2Be fitness classes to help you stay active, manage aches and pains, and prepare your body for birth.

• Postnatal Pilates to help you reconnect with your core and pelvic floor, rebuild strength in this new body & meet other mums who understand the ups and downs of early motherhood.

• Personal training in my private studio, tailored to your goals whether that's improving strength, recovering from surgery, managing menopause symptoms or getting back to exercise with confidence.

• Specialist massage therapies including Pregnancy Massage, Postnatal Massage, C-Section Scar Massage, Scar Therapy, Oncology Massage and Relaxation Massage to help ease tension, support recovery and create time for you.

My approach is centred around movement, strength and balance, helping women feel more confident in their bodies and supported through life's transitions.  You won’t find me at doing a marathon but I do like to make Simple-Changes to keep me healthy - See what I did 😉

If you're not sure where to start, send me a message and I'd be happy to help you find the right option for you, no judgement! I will meet you where you are!

Week 3–4 Post Laparoscopic Surgery

The last couple of weeks have flown by! Half term was a busy one, with my little girl turning 10. We squeezed in shopping trips, a birthday party, a family BBQ and some lovely catch-ups with friends and plenty of rest.

Recovery-wise, things are progressing well. It’s been a bit tricky remember to always get up in a way that is safe for my core, particularly in bed but I’m working on that!

I've been doing plenty of mobility work and working through the random aches and pains that seem to pop up as my body adjusts. I've also been gradually rebuilding my core strength, slowly increasing what I'm doing and progressing onto more standing core exercises, which I'm really pleased about.

This week I'm returning to teaching my classes and getting back to some massage appointments from tomorrow. I've now been discharged from the hospital, which feels like a weight of my shoulders.

When it came to exercise advice, I was told I could return to what I was doing before surgery, but to avoid weights for 3–4 months. Whilst that gives a general guideline, there's a bit more to it than that.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing more about rebuilding core strength after surgery, including why a gradual, progressive approach is so important.  There may not be big scars but the body is healing.  Recovery isn't just about doing exercises; it's about making sure the right muscles are working effectively and progressing at a pace that suits your body and starting point.

Every recovery journey is different, but I'm feeling grateful to be moving forward and getting back to doing what I love after a little break. I ensured that I strengthened my core before my operation and that has definitely made a difference recovery wise!

For so many mums and women, the days are full — school runs, work, caring for little ones, supporting older parents, managing a home — it never really stops. And somewhere in the middle of all that, your own wellbeing can quietly slip to the bottom of the list.

So often, we become people pleasers, putting everyone else’s needs before our own.

I actually said no this weekend to a trip to the Ideal Home Exhibition. A family member was disappointed, but honestly… it just wasn’t what I needed. What I did need was time to fit in my exercise and get the laundry done — the things that help me feel more like me again plus kids need school uniform!

Do you find yourself saying yes all the time? Or are you able to say no and put yourself first? Comment below.

So if your bottom of the list this is where Pilates comes in.

Pilates isn’t just about movement — it’s about giving yourself space to breathe, reset, and feel calm again. Focusing on the exercises helps clear the mind. It helps you slow down, reconnect with your body, and release the built-up tension you’ve been carrying all day.

When you take that time, something shifts. You feel clearer, lighter, more patient. Your energy comes back. Your “bucket” gets filled — and from that place, you’re able to give so much more to the people who rely on you. Even hearing “mum” for the millionth time doesn’t feel quite so overwhelming!

Looking after yourself isn’t selfish — it’s essential.

✨ Class Times:
• Monday – 6:45pm & 7:45pm (7:45pm FULL)
• Tuesday – 6:40pm
• Thursday – 7:45pm
• Saturday – 9:00am

Classes are getting busy and spaces are limited.

This is your sign to stop putting yourself last.

Monday mornings often mean a cuddle if it’s needed. Sometimes for baby, sometimes for mum.
There’s a real sense of community in postnatal Pilates. The tea and chat at the end of class is always needed and always appreciated. It’s a chance to pause, talk and be around other mums who understand exactly what this stage feels like (pretty tough).

We also have a monthly coffee catch up, which is a lovely way to get out of the house and connect with local mums going through the same thing. It makes such a difference not feeling like you’re doing it all on your own.

Pregnancy and postnatal Pilates is so much more than just a class. It’s a space to feel supported, to move your body safely, and to find your people.
If you’re expecting this year or have recently had your baby, you’re very welcome to come along to a class. Alongside the tea and cuddles, we focus on rebuilding core and pelvic floor strength, improving posture and easing those everyday aches and pains. The class is C-Section safe.

Pregnancy Pilates – Mondays 5.45pm (Langley)
Mums to Be – Saturday 10.15am (Datchet)
Postnatal Pilates – Mondays 10.30am (next term booking now open)

If you’d like more information, just send me a message.

Many women hold more tension in their jaw than they realise. See how you jaw feels right now!

Clenching, grinding, stress, hormonal changes, poor posture, feeding a baby, working at a desk — it all shows up in the jaw. And when the jaw is tight, the neck, shoulders and even the pelvic floor can start to hold tension too.

Releasing the jaw can help:
• reduce headaches and jaw pain
• ease neck and shoulder tension
• support the nervous system to relax
• improve breathing and posture
• help the pelvic floor release and function better

The jaw and pelvic floor are closely connected, which is why gentle release work can support women through many different life stages — from pregnancy and postnatal recovery, to perimenopause and beyond.

At Simple-Changes, I support women through every transition in life combining movement, balance and strength.

Small, simple techniques like this can make a real difference in how your body feels.

If your jaw, neck or shoulders often feel tight, this is a great place to start.
