The 2025/26 season will commence on Monday, 8th September at St George’s Academy, Sleaford in the New Sports Hall. Club nights are booked Monday and Friday throughout the season.

Mondays will be booked from 18:30 - 19:30 for Junior coaching and 19:30 - 21:00 for Senior club, Fridays run from 19:00 - 21:00 for Senior club.

Membership fees (from September to the end of the season (April or May TBC)

Junior Membership: £80
Senior Membership: £135

We offer a prompt payment discount on senior membership, if you pay on or before 3rd October, of £15 making membership for the year £120.

We will also be offering the opportunity to pay for Senior membership in 2 instalments:

2025 membership (September to December): £80
2026 membership (January to April/May): £80

As we are a Badminton England Affiliated Club, our membership covers your affiliation with Badminton England which includes insurance. If you are purchasing your own Badminton England membership for the season, please discount £17.50 from your Sleaford membership fee (this is the annual cost for a 12 month Community Club Membership)

Furthermore, if you purchase a 2025 half-season membership, this does not automatically commit you to the 2026 membership. You can decide whether to renew your membership in the new year.

Membership joining fees will be adjusted pro-rata for new members joining mid-way through the season.

All payments should be made by Bank Transfer, details available through club WhatsApp.

For all first timers to Sleaford Badminton Club, the first taster session is FREE! Visitor fees of £6 apply thereafter, but we will be strongly encouraging visitors who have attended 3 or more sessions to purchase a membership, so they also gain affiliation with Badminton England.

As per last season, we are entering 2 teams into the Newark & District Badminton League (1x Mixed & 1x Open’s), then 1x Combi Team into the Lincs Leagues. Although not entering into a league, we will also be operating a 2nd Open’s team, this team will play in several organised friendly matches - we hope this may lead to the formation of 2nd Open’s league team the following season.
Only fully paid up members will be eligible to play in matches.
We will be running our team selection evening on Monday 15th September.

We will be running 2x FREE open nights for all current/former/new members.

Mondays will be booked from 18:30 - 19:30 for Junior coaching and 19:30 - 21:00 for Senior club, Fridays run from 19:00 - 21:00 for Senior club.

This season will be putting extra emphasis on making sure members support Senior club nights as much as possible, for the benefit of all involved in the club.

Membership fees (from September to the end of April)

Junior Membership: £75
Senior Membership: £130

Today's Olympic sport we're shining a spotlight on is badminton.🏸

Badminton is a fun racket sport which strengthens your muscles, improves hand-eye coordination and increases your stamina. It's one of the easiest racket sports to get started with, and there are lots of clubs welcoming beginners across the county. If you have your own equipment, many venues provide court hire allowing you to have a go with friends.

For those of you that have never heard of our partners AllSportsUK, they are a holiday camp company that run camp days and weeks in the school holidays, focusing on multi sports, physical/mental/ and social development, and offering children of all ages and abilities the opportunity to participate in at least 4 different sports a day.

Their camp days are run by fully qualified PE teachers and sport specialist coaches. They have partnered with many local sports clubs across Lincolnshire (including our club) so they are knowledgable about how and where your children can continue with sports past their time with their coaches.
