Located within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Gisburn Forest is the largest wooded area in Lancashire. We have a constantly developing bike trail network thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteer Trail Team and the hard work of Martin Colledge of the Forestry Commission. The plan is to gradually improve the MTBing resource in the forest for everyone

This Sunday the 10th of May is our next dig day. We’re close to finishing the alternate line, 3 of us snuck in an extra day today and dug through the roots, about 30m left to dig. Once the two trails are joined progress should be swift.

Meet point on the map attached.

Come in from the Hub entrance, take the first left through the green metal barrier which should be open. Drive down to the bottom of the fire road where the gravel pile is. As always please don’t park immediately in front of the gravel pile, we need to be able to access it with the carriers.

If you are able to join us it would be good if you could let me know so we can anticipate numbers.

Meet at 10am at the location on the attached map, we'll provide tools and gloves (freshly washed), you bring your lunch..
