Comments:
I started flying at Edensoaring after a mate (Martin Sandwith) invited me over with him. I thought I was going to watch and take pics but ended up having a trial flight on the ridge for half an hour and was blown away with experience. I was flying rented powered aeroplanes up until then but knew instantly that this was way more exciting (and cheaper). My brain is now my engine and the only fuel I worry about now is my bait box (lunch for you southerners)! Where else can you go flying in the fells for 5 hours for a £10 launch fee? Sometimes I do have to pinch myself when I'm floating above the mountains.
