Further to a recent Facebook post criticising the decision not to allow Under 18s to play at JMO unsupervised, the management would like to set
the record straight on this issue.

We understand that some people may not be happy with this situation but there is nothing we can do about it as it is now a condition of our Public Liability Insurance.

For obvious reasons we have to abide by the T & Cs of our Insurance Policy and will not compromise our staff or ourselves no matter what the criticism.

We just wanted to share a quick update in response to some incorrect information circulating — JMO is not a cashless venue.

We recently trialled a cashless system for a couple of evenings only as part of reviewing how we operate, and during that time we received just a couple of requests to pay with cash.

There has been no decision made and no permanent changes — we are simply exploring options to help us balance customer preferences with the practical challenges businesses now face.

We completely understand that cash remains important to many of our customers, and we always aim to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
