Job Opportunity: Self-Employed Gym Cleaner (6 hours/week)
Looking for a reliable, detail-oriented self-employed cleaner to maintain our gym facility to the highest standards.
Position Details:
• Hours: 6 hours per week, split into two 3-hour shifts
• Shift Times: Between 11am and 2pm
• Days: Flexible (to be agreed – two days per week)
• Basis: Self-employed / Independent Contractor
Role Includes:
• Full deep cleaning of all gym areas (weights zone, cardio area, functional training space, changing rooms, showers, reception, and common areas)
• Thorough sanitisation of high-touch surfaces and equipment
• Floor cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing
• Mirror and glass polishing
• All aspects of deep cleaning to ensure a spotless, hygienic, and welcoming environment for members
Requirements:
• Proven experience in cleaning (preferred)
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable, trustworthy, and physically fit
• Own transport

This is a regular ongoing opportunity for the right person who takes pride in delivering exceptional cleanliness standards in a busy fitness environment.

We’re Hiring: Fitness Coach & Gym Team Member!
Are you a self-motivated, high-energy fitness enthusiast with a genuine passion for helping people?
Do you love Hyrox and CrossFit, and thrive in a fast-paced gym environment?
We’re looking for a driven team member to join us!
What we need from you:
• Minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (or equivalent)
• Willing to progress to Level 3 Personal Trainer
• Strong understanding of customer needs and excellent people skills
• Willing to go the extra mile to deliver great service
• Interested to learn about Hyrox and CrossFit
• Confident delivering 2 classes per week
• Happy to cover 14 hours including evenings and weekends on a rota basis in the gym environment helping manage day-to-day operations
What you get in return:
• Completely FREE gym membership
• Keep 100% of all income you generate (personal training self employed basis.)
• Training and progression opportunities within the gym (Level 3 training considered for the right candidate after a successful trial period)

Sometimes the reason is genuine, and sometimes it’s used to avoid responsibility.

Don’t let changing your body be an excuse. I had to face harsh realities to overcome sickness and obesity. I know you can do it too!!!

REMINDER

Hello everyone,

The Bank Holiday weekend is coming up, from Saturday 23rd May through to Monday 25th May, the gym will be unmanned and operating on 18+ access only.

Please note:

* The gym will be unmanned over the Bank Holiday weekend
* Members will need to use the scanner on the outside of the building as well as inside to gain access
* Please bring your own drinks as reception will not be staffed
* No under 18 access will be available during this period

Normal access and staffed hours will resume on Tuesday 26th May.
