Hello fellow footputters. Just to you know the council have not offered a lease for the 3rd Summer running.
I believe there are plans for the land and the cafe area and that sadly Footput is now ended.
I would like to draw your attention to 2 brothers who first visited me in 2018 when they videoed the game and featured it on their you tube channel. Since that time I have featured in many of their crazy golf and putting videos.
I am a firm believer in good old fashion fun holidays and would ask you as former players of my game to visit their sight and like the videos and subscribe to the channel. The main objective is to promote courses in Skegness and in other northern locations.

I wanted to make the previous announcement to stand out so sorry it was a bit short on non relavent information. I am due to have surgery on an aneurism which will hopefully be done within the month of May. I have been in discussion with Emma at East Lindsey about the possibility of opening for the Summer holidays if I was recovered in time. In recent weeks the council have sold the land next to mine to Travel lodge / Starbucks for £1. I have been told that as work is due to start very soon that for safety reasons etc. that will be able to open this Summer. I was hoping that work would not start until after the main holiday purely based on common sense. Having moved the main car park entrance to the bottom of South Parade it did seem stupid to then introduce lorries and building work to the equation. But if you sell land for a £1 you are not going to tell them when they can start work. On a posative note I would like to thank each and everyone of you for making the last 6 years a wonderful part of my life. If my opp goes OK and the bulk of the building work is done there may be an offer for next year. Thank you x

Having completed the 6th season of footput I can confirm that as well as Facebook and Google we are now on YouTube. Thanks to Darren and Paul for including clips of Footput on their video blogs of Skegness. Just wikipedia to go if anybody wants to start that up. Less than 2 weeks to go. I close on Friday 1st of September. My football team are looking for strikers and I hear they may be interested. I do fit the bill that I am permanently carrying a injury but have been back on the grass. In fairness they may not be able to afford my terms Joking apart I will let you know if I am expected back next year in the Spring.

2023 part 2 starts tomorrow at 11am. Weather permitting I will be here until the end of August daily from 11 till 5. I have no idea what the next 6 weeks will bring but I hope that many of you will be able to enjoy my simple, affordable fun game. Paulette Edwards has agreed to have a quick chat before I open at about 10 40am so feel free to tune in. Many thanks to Radio Sheffield for their support over the last 5 years.
