WINNERS!!! 🏌️⛳🩵🍾

What a fantastic treat I've had today! Got invited by our general manager Susan Turner to play in the GCMA event at Coxmoor Golf club.

A blisteringly hot day (33°c) fantastic golf course and great company made today a real treat for sure! We had 90 points AmAm with all to count on the last winning by 5 points!

Grabbed myself a 2 winning some Titliest ProV1 balls and scored 39 points on my own ball, (-3 under par) which in all honesty could have been at least -6 under par!

Anyway a truly great day winning some cheese, wine and golf balls. If you haven't played Coxmoor, I'd highly recommend it! 👌

A heads up for what's next, on FRIDAY! I am taking on the challenge of doing 100 holes in a day for macmillan cancer support. Short report this one 🤧🤢🏌️⛳

Today was a proper tough one, yes windy conditions and very hot but in all honesty hay-fever was the killer and has well and truly written me off today. I genuinely considered retiring after the 4th hole. Constant sneezing, itchy and runny nose, watering eyes. Don't think I've ever felt that poorly with hay-fever ever!

Anyhow a little rest from competitive golf now. Next big thing for me in my longest day challenge for macmillan next week Friday! If you would like to donate you can find the post on my page. 🏌️⛳🩵

GET THE SEARCH PARTY OUT!! 😵‍💫🏌️⛳

MISSING - Wedge game

Erm how do I describe this one then..... Well in all honesty I played some great golf and it's disappointing to finish how I did. Wedges really was my downfall. 12th, gap wedge from 116 missed green didn't get up and down. 14th, 76 yards, miss hit 54 wedge, short in the bunker, didn't get up and down. 16th, poor tee shot, 2 attempts to get out the bunker, didn't make up and down for 5.

Apart from essentially 3 shots, the rest of the game was excellent!
Fairways in reg 9/15
Greens in reg 12/18
Up and down 3/6
Putts 31

Waiting on the outcome of alternates but I don't think I'll make it due to countback. Thanks to Chris Emmott for caddying today, was great to see you!

Oh well, hopefully will be sharper tomorrow at the Cleethorpes Pro-Am.

Over the moon!! 🙊🏌️⛳

I am so pleased to say that I have passed my level 3 golf coaching exam here at the Belfry. It means I have now completed everything required to be a fully qualified PGA Professional!

As I'm sure many of you will know, it has been a long and at times stressful journey but it's done! I honestly cannot express how happy this makes me 😁

What a way to start these next three days! Coming up tomorrow, English PGA Championship Qualifying at Copt Heath, followed by the Pro-Am at Cleethorpes on Friday!

Now for a little post exam treat... A game on the PGA National 😎

QUALIFICATION BABY!!! 😍🏌️⛳🩵

A real gutsy and determined performance today, especially after going back to back doubles on 4 and 5!

Swing didn't quite feel great for the first 7 holes as I found myself at +4 🙈 however we turned it around, got the swing going and played some really good golf 🏌️⛳🔥

Absolutely over the moon to get through to the finals which take place at kedleston park on July 21st-23rd.

Huge thanks to Mick for caddying and helping me get through!

Onwards and upwards! 🏌️⛳🩵

Think I've hit every emotion today.... 😁🤔😒🙄😭🤬🏌️⛳🩵

Today was the Boston Golf Club Pro-Am and the scorecard honestly doesn't tell the picture at all. With a left miss all day, big draw/hook, it's was going to be an odd day.

Amazingly and somehow bizzarely I made an eagle two on the 1st hole. 142 yards from the left rough with a wedge, hit a sprinkler on the right hand fringe ran across and into the hole. Jubilation! 😁😍 Today was gonna be my lucky day......... Not!

Bogey on 2, followed by missed really good birdie chances on 3, 7 and 8 meant we stayed at -2. Silly bogey on 9 followed by a silly bogey on 13 meant I dropped back to even par, despite having a really good chance on 11 to get back to -2. Excellent birdie chances on 14, 16 and 17 all slipped by which left me very frustrated. 18 was comical, left miss all day and you guessed it, missed my tee shot right. Wrong place to go! A chip out followed by a chunked pitch shot into the pond meant a drop and two putts for a triple bogey.

That hole proved extremely costly as it meant I missed out on the top 6 for prize money. Had I made par on the last could have earnt me some very good money.

Oh what could have been 😔

Anyway next up for me is the Coca Cola Assistants Championship qualifier at Coventry Golf Club 11th June. 🏌️⛳🩵

Hi everyone 💚 ⛳🏌️

On Friday 26th of June I am completing the longest day challenge for macmillan cancer support, I will be completing a minimum of 100 holes in one day (5 & 1/2 rounds) at Seacroft Golf Club. I'm hoping everyone would be willing to sponsor me for the event.

I will post videos to my story to let you all know how it's going but I'm looking forward to doing this challenge once again.

Hmm 🤔😒⛳🏌️

Honestly I have no words for today's performance. Today wasn't an enjoyable golfing day unfortunately, this is not what I expect from myself at all.

Back to the swing studio and practice ground to nail down the cause of these poor performances.

Next event is at Boston Golf Club on Friday 5th June. See you all then! 🩵⛳🏌️

Ahh the dreaded 2nd round strikes again! 😒⛳🏌️🩵

A disappointing start made it very tough to get anything going today. It's really amazing how 1 poor swing can de rail your round, that's exactly what happened on the 2nd with a 4 iron in hand 😅

Anyway some really good positives today, really good off the tee, some good shots and wasn't dyslexic with the putter today! 😂

More work to do on the swing but there is definitely some good signs coming. We get a chance to put today's performance right tomorrow at the Kenwick Park Pro-Am. Looking forward to this one!
