BACK IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE! ASSISTANTS CHAMPION! 🏆🥇🏌️⛳🩵
What a day! Honestly cannot express the relief and happiness of finally securing a victory for the first time in 3 & 1/2 years 🩵
It's been a while coming, the weather played its tricks as usual, starting with torrential rain from the 8th hole in the first round all the way through to the 4th hole in the second round. Made it very difficult for everyone but we just couldn't get too much going in that stretch of holes.
Once the rain had cleared and the sun came out we played some great stuff! Birdies on 5, 7 & 8 really set the tone for this afternoons round plus we had Back to back CHIP INS for birdies on 12 & 13, plus a great wedge shot to a couple feet on 14 really got me into my stride. Slightly disappointed to drop one on 17 but nearly recovered it on 18.
Overall a superb day, played some really good stuff. Looking forward to the Lincolnshire Open at Holme Hall Golf club on Sunday! Teeing off at 10am so if you're around, get yourself down to watch! 🏌️⛳🩵
