Sometimes football is more than just the game.

On Saturday our under 12s manager Martin finally got married, and had no idea that his new wife (our wonderful welfare officer) had arranged for the team to surprise him outside the church! A very emotional day and it was great to see them dancing away together in the evening too.

💛 New players wanted! 💙

We have spaces across our teams for new players, so now is the time to get started and enjoy a summer of football! We currently have spaces in the following ages groups:

💛 Under 7s-9s - current school years 1-3
🩷 Under 9s girls - current school years 2&3
💙 Under 11s - current school years 4&5
🩷 Under 15 girls - current school years 8&9
💛 Under 16s - current school years 9&10
💙 Under 17s - current school years 10&11

If you know of anyone wanting to join a team or even just come along to training please share this with them. Come along and give it a go!

Well after that stressful evening, England are through to the next round of the World Cup and we can all breathe for a few more days.

What are your plans for the next game? Will you stay up to watch it, go to bed early to wake up and watch it, or wake up early in the morning and watch it on repeat before work/school?

to Greenland Community Primary School in Durham for giving all kids, families and staff the chance to watch the next England game which is 01.00 on Monday.

Our wonderful under 15 girls team (26/27 season) are looking to add a couple of more players to their team. They currently train on Mondays and have matches on Saturdays, if this sounds like something you would be interested in or if you just want to come along to training to give it a go, please do get in touch.

Please share with anyone who may be interested, the girls will CURRENTLY be in years 8&9 at school.

Well done to our under 12s (26/27 season) who took part in the Ruskington Tournament yesterday. Despite the heat, the team worked hard together and managed to go undefeated in the group, seeing them sit comfortably at the top of the table and reach the final of the Champions League. Unfortunately they just missed out in the final but should be extremely proud of how well they conducted themselves all day, supported each other and showed great sportsmanship throughout the day.

Thankyou to all of the parents for travelling and keeping the kids cool and hydrated, and to coaches Martin and Jack for encouraging and leading the team so brilliantly.
