Huge congratulations to Njega Sohna on becoming British MMA Champion today! 🏆🇬🇧

Njega started training with us when he was just 11 years old, and to see the dedication, hard work and consistency he’s shown over the years pay off like this makes us incredibly proud.

He’s put countless hours into the gym to get to this point, and this title is thoroughly deserved. A massive achievement for Njega and everyone who has been part of his journey.

The team keeps moving forward too… next up, Alex Underwood fights for the English K1 Championship at the end of this month! 🥊🏆

🥊 2 YEARS OF EAST COAST COMBAT ACADEMY! 🥊

Today marks 2 years since we opened our doors, and honestly, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come.

From starting out with an empty gym to now having an amazing community of people training, learning, competing and pushing each other every single week — I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built.

Before opening the gym we were in a village hall a couple days a week and training fighters in my shed so we’re extremely happy to now have the facilities and team we have established.

A massive THANK YOU to every single member who has walked through our doors, whether you’ve been here from day one or only joined recently. You’re the reason ECCA is what it is.

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us and putting the work in. The coaches and I genuinely appreciate every one of you.

We are already looking at plans for the future of expanding to a new much bigger location and offering many more services. Here’s to 2 years down, and many more to come. 🥊
