A very Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year. We are celebrating with the announcement of our new school partnership, with St Nicholas C of E School in Strood.

We are so grateful for your support in 2016 and we welcome it as we hopefully grow bigger over the next few months and years.

Wow, Saturday night was incredible...we raised over £350 for Mind and there are still a couple of donations to come in.

It was the first event PSD has hosted and it was a fantastic turn out. It was a hard fought battle to the end but the quiz was eventually won by the team from Borden Cricket Club, congratulations to Sarah, Richard, Scott and Kevin. They snuck the win in the last round!

Our hostess Caroline was wonderful. Big thank you to Michael for all his work on the night too.

Thanks again to all those who came, we hope you had as good an evening as we did.

We are ready to go and excited for our inaugural Quiz Night, raising money for Mind.

Doors open at 7pm and we are looking to start around 7.30.

There is car parking on site and don't forget to bring your own drinks and snacks.

If anyone has any question please let us know. Otherwise we will see you at Tunstall Village Hall later on!

We have been shocked and devastated to hear the stories coming out of the football world this week. For a coach to inflict any sort of abuse on a child or adult is obviously intolerable. Much respect and support comes from us at PSD to the victims in these cases. The fear is that there will be more across other sports.

We hope these rare and awful cases do not impact on a parents confidence and trust in the coaches that are working with their children. Our profession includes far more enhanced checks before anybody can work with children or adults and rightly so.

The 99.99% of us who love the sports we are involved in and love seeing the development of people of all ages, would never expose the young people in our care to any danger.

We hope you have a great and active weekend.

Exciting times for us at PSD.
- Our first charity quiz night, raising money for Mind, is 9 days away.
- Our website is being constructed by the very talented Louise at Originate Design.
- We are working with Hornby Whitefoot PR, having won their competition earlier this year, looking at how we can get ourselves some more attention.
- We are loving working with two brilliant schools, Bredhurst CEP and Teynham Primary.
- Finally, we have a New Year offer available to schools across Kent.

Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks until our quiz night at Tunstall Village Hall.

We have a number of people confirmed, so please let us know if you would like a table ASAP to avoid missing out.

There will be a raffle so if anyone would like to donate a prize please bring it with you. We will probably throw a game of heads or tails in at some point too!
