The best century seen at our ground for many years. Congratulations to Norah Hardy who celebrated her 100th birthday with a family party at our ground yesterday.

August was a busy month at the club with our Cricket Week, a couple of large music events plus other functions.

Yesterday we held our first event of the year. All COVID secure for a small outdoor afternoon tea.
We’re so glad everyone enjoyed it and how nice to receive this lovely endorsement from the party organiser.

We at Newington CC await with interest like the rest of the country to the announcement this weekend regarding the Lockdown.
We hope to reopen the clubhouse as soon as is safely possible for everyone but this maybe as far away as the New Year.
Nevertheless we can look forward with confidence when that does happen.
