Thank you so much to everyone who came along to Run Silchester 2026. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The sun was shining, the Silchester Village Market was full of energy, the children were loving the Entertainer, and the whole village felt alive. It truly was a wonderful community day from start to finish.
We want to express our deepest thanks to every volunteer and sponsor who helped make this event possible. Run Silchester simply wouldn’t happen without the incredible dedication of so many people — from our Marshalls, Registration team, Catering and Bar crews, Silchester Running Groups, the Silchester Association, and all the Event Organisers. Your time, enthusiasm, and hard work are what turn this event into something special each year, and we are so grateful.
A huge congratulations to every single participant who took part in yesterday’s races. It turned into quite a warm day, yet we saw so many people achieving personal bests, others just enjoying a relaxed run, and many taking on their very first race — from the youngest runners to the most experienced.
