Moray Bosence and Ken Mylne are our Monthly Draw winners!

Moray won 12 Titleist Pro V1s, whilst Ken won Titleist Tour Softs and a SGC shoe bag. Remember, all winning tickets remain in the draw, so you'll still be in with a chance of winning future monthly prizes, as well as prizes at our Grand Draw in December.

December's breath-taking top prize is a golf holiday in Portugal for 4 people! There are other incredible prizes up for grabs too...

You can still buy tickets in the draw for £5 each, 6 for £25 or 13 for £50 either at the bar or via bank transfer. It really is worth entering, as you're in with a chance of winning big, and all proceeds help the club.

Our course tour is now in its 8th week, so its time for Hole 8! ⛳

This is a long par 4. A good tee shot between the two groups of trees is essential. The ground rises sharply to the green - plenty of power is required to tackle the increase in elevation. The green itself has a challenging lie too. On the white and yellow tees, Hole 8 is SI 1.

Red 🟥 tees - 394 yds, SI 5

We absolutely love the blue 🟦 tint on the clouds in this one, taken by Toby Martin this week.

He took it from the 2nd fairway, looking down towards the sea. You can see the clubhouse 🏠 in the middle of the photo.

It's Hole 7!

After 3 shorter holes, Hole 7 is, at last, an opportunity to add some power to your tee shot. There is just one small lone tree on the fairway to avoid. Shots on this hole require extra power as the hole is uphill.

White⬜️tees - 362 yds, SI 5
Yellow 🟨 tees - 352 yds, SI 5
Red 🟥 tees - 336 yds, SI 1

Today is Club Monday at View 66!

This week, they're serving Lasagne 🍝, Garlic Bread and Salad 🥗. We'd really recommend it - the food at View 66 is always really tasty 😋.

Sidmouth Airshow update:

Sidmouth Town Council has just announced that the Red Arrows' planned display tomorrow has now been changed to a flypast. The rest of the Airshow is to continue as planned.

Whilst the news is disappointing, View 66 will still be running their Pimms and BBQ here at the Club, and we're still hosting our viewing party for all the afternoon's action.

We hope to see you tomorrow

Tomorrow is the Red Arrows!

We'll have live music up at the Club from 5.30pm, and View 66 will have a Pimm's Bar and BBQ to make sure you're well fed and watered.

There's no booking required, and non-members are welcome. Parking is free as well! Join us for an unforgettable view of this year's Red Arrows display.

For any golfers playing in the Friday Stableford, please note that the 18th, 1st and 2nd holes will be closed from 3:30pm. You can start your round on the 18th to ensure you complete all 18 holes.
