LADIES MATCH REPORT 9TH JUNE (H) V NEWTON ST CYRES
Great tennis last night from all players. New pairing of Flo and Rachael enjoyed some lovely tennis with some close games and long rallies, but star pair of Kate and Anne battled into the night finally winning against Newton St Cyres first pair from 1 set down and 5 love down in the 2nd set to win 4-6 , 7-5, and win the tie break! Final score was 4 - 6 with a NSC win.
Really pleasing result against the division leaders.

MATCH REPORT MENS A.
The Men’s A team beat top of the table Exwick B 6-3
tonight (Monday) to record their first win of the season. The result was all the more sweeter, as Tipton had lost the away fixture at Exwick on the opening day of the season.
Well done to Pete and Steve for winning both their matches, coming back from 4-0 and 5-3 down in the first set of their first match.
Glynn and Jayan did well to win their second match on a championship tiebreak in a closely contested encounter.
Well done all 👏🎾

Congratulations to our Ladies team, for an impressive 8-0 victory against Seaton at home on Tuesday night. Special mention to Mo, who stood in last minute for an injured Sally, and played her socks off, running for every ball. We continue to hold 3rd place in division 4 at the half way mark.

Men's A Team Report.
Just to say, a big hats off to Nathan and Jayan who got their first A team summer league points last night in our 4-4 draw at Dawlish. Steve and Pete got the other two in a closely contested fixture 👏🎾

Ladies Team Update.
5 matches played, so approaching mid point of the season and find ourselves in a solid position, sitting 3rd in division 4 of the league. There's been some lovely tennis and good sporting banter, both home and away.

Ladies morning was preceded with a gardening session, clearing and strimming around Court 1 before play could begin. Thanks for all those who were able to help.

Tipton Ladies 6-2 Sampford Peverell

First home match for our ladies team last night with a great result, winning 6-2 against Sampford Peverell and no tie-breaks! Jacki and Rachael improved on last week's performance with a good win in the first leg, then Anne and Sally winning both their rubbers strongly.
