Why weights?

I understand that many people see these big lumps of metal and think, “That’s not for me.” But here’s why weight training is the most effective form of exercise for everyone, no matter their goals.

🔥 Burn Calories: Just like cardio, weight training burns calories. But it’s far more enjoyable and won’t leave you feeling drained for the rest of the day.

📈 Boost Metabolism: Muscle burns more calories than fat, even at rest. So, as you build muscle, your metabolism will increase. This makes dieting much easier.

💪 Improve Appearance: There are only two ways to change your body’s appearance: build muscle and lose fat. Cardio helps you lose fat but is poor at building muscle. Weight training accomplishes both!

🦴 Strengthen Bones: Weight training improves bone density, reducing the risk of broken bones and osteoporosis as you age.
