Here is how our teams got on this past weekend:
Shrivenham FC 1st 7 - 1 Devizes Town FC Res
⭐ POTM: Josh McGrory – Put in a massive shift from right back, bagging a goal and three assists.
📝 Match Summary: An emphatic win for the Firsts! Leading 4-1 at the break, the side pulled away in style despite Devizes briefly pulling one back. A hat-trick from Jono, a brace from Brad, Josh’s strike, and an opener from assistant manager Flanners sealed the points, continuing great form with 3 more set-piece goals.

Purton Kingsdown FC Res 2 - 3 Shrivenham FC Dev
⭐ POTM: Eugiene Taderera – Outstanding display across the pitch to help secure the points.
📝 Match Summary: The Devs picked up their first three league points of the season with a fantastic shift on a difficult pitch. It was a dream return from injury for Kieran Sutton, who marked his comeback with a double, alongside a strike from Charlie Hampson to cap off a well-deserved win.

Chiseldon Youth U18 0 - 5 U18 (Div 2)
⭐ POTM: Dom – Commanded his box in goal, with his second-half distribution kicking off numerous attacks.
📝 Match Summary: A clinical start to the season with brilliant performances right across the squad. A brace from Jay, strikes from Dion and Will, plus an own goal capped off a dominant away performance and a clean sheet.

U16 1 - 5 Malmesbury Youth FC U16 (Div 4)
⭐ POTM: Tayami – An eye-catching debut display full of energy and quality from our new signing.
📝 Match Summary: A harsh final scoreline that didn't reflect the effort and positives shown throughout the squad, especially with only one substitute available. Alfie captained the side and got on the scoresheet against a clinical Malmesbury team.

Kings Sutton U15 2 - 5 U15 Girls (League A)
⭐ POTM: Eve – A rock in defence, breaking up play and stopping almost every opposition attack.
📝 Match Summary: An unbelievable comeback! After finding themselves 2-0 down, the girls showed incredible resilience to fight back and score five unanswered goals. An unforgettable afternoon for striker Sophia Mundy Atkins, who scored all five!

U14 3 - 0 Ferndale Rodbourne FC U14 Red (Cup)
⭐ POTM: Elliot H – A colossus at the back to keep a well-earned clean sheet.
📝 Match Summary: A very solid cup start against a spirited Ferndale side who never gave up. Elliot J led the scoring with a brace alongside a goal from Jordi to see the Royals safely through.

U13 1 - 3 South Cerney Youth U13 (Cup)
⭐ POTM: Chester Artus – Showed brilliant commitment and character, scoring our goal while seamlessly slotting into three different positions.
📝 Match Summary: The U13s took the fight to opposition from the league above. Leading 1-0 at half-time thanks to brilliant saves from the keeper, the game stretched after the break. While pushing for a leveller, the side were caught on the counter, but there were plenty of positives to take into the season.

Cricklade Youth U12 Saxons 1 - 6 U12 Blues (Cup)
⭐ POTM: Jamie – Incredible communication between the sticks and pulled off five or six top-class saves.
📝 Match Summary: A flying start saw the Blues go 5-0 up by half-time. Although Cricklade pulled one back early in the second half, the lads regained composure, struck the woodwork twice, and added another to cruise into the next round against Fairford.
