What a day we had today at the annual Dagon boat race raising money for Severn Hospice this event is always a highlight of our year. It’s so nice to see so many members coming together for a good cause. Community is mentioned a lot around CrossFit but it’s days like these that remind us how lucky we are at SY1.

Oh and to cap off our day we also retained our title!!

Everest update. It was just too big of a beast and it beat us. Over 18 hours in and 1600 climbs completed and we came to the decision to stop for everyone’s safety the extra 84 reps each were just beyond us (except Mike who was a machine all day!). Thank you all for your support, we’re happy we did all we could and still raised a great amount for a good cause.
