🐼🥊 OPENING DATE 🥊🐼

We can now confirm we will be opening the doors to our new premises on October the 1st!

What’s different you ask? Let us give you an insight into the investments SCH has made:

- we now have TWO floors to give you more classes, equipment and room to train!
- toilet facilities! We have two new toilets complete with sinks, something we really missed in our last gym!
- custom built reception area to sign you in, and to purchase your merchandise or drinks/snacks from one of our new fridges!
- new cardio and functional fitness areas! We have upgraded our equipment and are now tailoring to those who wish to train in some of the Hyrox elements
- dedicated circuits area, whether you’re training yourself or as part of one of our new classes
- dedicated minis/juniors area downstairs
- our new octagon; this is for those who wish to sign up as a gym member and use in their spare time to spar or train, or as part of classes!
- our new platform competition ring, this will elevate your training by giving you a feel for the real deal!
- we have majorly invested in 15 new punch bags and a professional heavyweight bag to train using the best equipment!
- charging stations for your tech, we know some of you come straight from work so having somewhere to pop your tech on charge is a great benefit!

There is much, much more to be revealed (including some amazing and varied businesses we’re going to be sharing the space with to give you a one stop shop!) - so keep an eye on socials whilst we finish off the last works!

🐼🥊 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! 🥊🐼

We have been established as a gym now for only ONE YEAR. 🐼
In that year, our business plan for growth has skyrocketed beyond our current capacity.
🔝

We host the BIGGEST shows in SHROPSHIRE, with a huge platform utilising the biggest venues. Our team of active fighters is now in the twenties and only growing!

Our first unit was curated with a dream, and it’s taken every single one of YOU, our members, to achieve what others thought we’d never be able to. 🎉

With that in mind, we are SO EXCITED to announce our NEW UNIT!!
With a new and BIGGER unit, over two floors comes NEW EQUIPMENT, an MMA CAGE and not one, not two but THREE boxing rings. We have also invested in over 20 new punch bags with a variety of sizes. We are pleased to announce we now have the floor space to provide a Minis/Juniors class area, a Circuits area, a Cardio area AND a new Hyrox training zone for those with functional fitness in mind. 🏋🏼‍♀️

All of this floor space and equipment belongs to US, and us only. We are not governed by being inside of a sports hall or larger gym - which means that this space belongs to our members as much as us! That’s why we proudly call ourselves Shropshire Combat Hub. We are the largest and only combat training facility in Shropshire with members access being 24/7 and access to expert coaching and a phenomenal range of classes. Our new timetable has something for literally everyone, so keep your eyes peeled for the new timetable 👀

Location, location, location - it matters! We listened to members feedback (and our own) and so have searched for the ideal spot to call home. We now proudly have a new premesis in Monkmoor Industrial Estate! 🏡

Speaking of listening to our members, everything we do we aim to tailor to suit every members needs. This includes timetables, equipment, facilities and design. As much as we are an official registered business, our membership costs go towards anything our members would like to see happen.

With the high interest we have already had, alongside our founding members we have concluded that we can only offer 50 NEW memberships at the moment. This is a membership that grants you FULL ACCESS to the new gym and all of its facilities and UNLIMITED CLASSES.

We choose to run our Mini and Junior panda classes, not because we want to raise a roost of brutes, because we feel like combat sports can give them a real firm foundation of life skills going forward.

What does boxing achieve?

👊 Builds confidence – Watch your child become more confident in themselves and their abilities.

🧠 Improves focus & concentration – Learning combinations, techniques and footwork keeps their minds active.

💪 Develops strength & fitness – A fun way to build coordination, balance, agility and overall fitness.

🏆 Teaches resilience – Sometimes things are difficult. Boxing teaches kids to keep going, learn from mistakes and try again.

We have a DEDICATED MINIS AND JUNIORS AREA at our gym, so you never have to worry that they will feel uncomfortable or out of place. They can truly be themselves!

🐼🥊 THIS WASN’T JUST A BOXING SHOW… THIS WAS AN EXPERIENCE. 🥊🐼

A little sneak peek at what went down at our SECOND EVER HOME SHOW…

And honestly… we’re still trying to take it all in. 🤯

We set out to put on something special. WE HIT 30 BOUTS OF BOXING IN ONE NIGHT!

What happened was something Shrewsbury has never seen before.

Over 500 people packed into the venue to witness those 30 bouts, with Minis, Juniors and Adults all taking to the ring, including an incredible 7 Championship Title Bouts. 🥳

From the very first bell to the very last, the action was relentless. Unreal stoppages, explosive exchanges and some seriously memorable fights had the crowd on their feet from start to finish. 🔔

And it wasn’t just the boxing that made the night.

The combination of special FX, pyrotechnics and lighting completely transformed the venue and helped create the atmosphere we had envisioned. Even our MC, referee and medical team were left genuinely gobsmacked by the venue and the scale of the show. 🎇

We brought together multiple gyms and clubs, creating an incredible night of boxing and showcasing just how strong the boxing community is when everyone comes together.

And then there was the Punch Machine… 👊💥

A massive 927 was the highest score of the night — and there were some VERY competitive attempts to knock it off the top spot!

Add in a great bar, fantastic food and an atmosphere that just kept building throughout the night… and you had one hell of a show.

But none of it would have been possible without the people behind it.

To every boxer who stepped through those ropes.
Every coach, club, official, referee, medic and member of staff.
Every person who helped build it, run it and make it happen.
And every single person who bought a ticket, filled a seat, cheered, shouted and helped create that atmosphere…

🐼🥊 DOING IT FOR THE GIRLS - TWO MORE FIGHTS TO THE CARD! 🐼🥊

Both a juniors bout between Sofia and Fearne, who have both worked really hard in the gym to prepare for the night! Nerves aside, there’s definitely excitement brewing!

And our lovely two females up for a standard bout! We actually can’t wait to see these bouts take place!
