You override more than you realise.

The tiredness. The desire. The no you didn't say. The thing you already know isn't working.

Not because you're weak. Because you've become exceptionally good at adapting.

Ten minutes, one honest pause. DM me and I'll send it to you.

You've planned their next step.

The school shoes. The timetable. The thousand small logistics of somebody else's new term.

Now it's quiet again, and there's a question worth asking.

What about you?

A free ten-minute pause to help you answer it. Grab it on the comment section.

Saying yes when everything in you means no.

It's one of the quietest ways to lose touch with yourself. Not one big betrayal. Hundreds of small ones, spread out over years, each one reasonable enough on its own.

If you recognise this, DM me and I'll send it over.

The resentment you don't say out loud has to go somewhere.

It shows up in the small distance you'd never admit to. In the decisions you keep postponing. In being present in the room, not quite present in yourself.

This isn't a character flaw. It's what happens when you spend years being the understanding one.

Ten honest minutes. DM "PAUSE" and I'll send it over.

You're not indecisive.

You're just disconnected from what you actually want. Years of answering everyone else's needs first will do that.

It doesn't mean something's wrong with your judgement. It means your own voice hasn't had much room lately.

If that lands, check comments to get the free ten-minute pause, a good place to start finding it again.

From the outside, it looks like you're doing brilliantly.

You remember the birthdays. You organise the things. You hold it together. You make the sensible choice.

And somewhere in there, you moved yourself near the bottom of your own list.

Not because something's wrong with you. Because you've become very good at overriding yourself.

There's a free ten-minute pause for exactly this. Check the comment section for

I’m looking for a few women who would be willing to help me with some research. 🤍

I am getting ready to launch The Return to Self, and rather than assuming what women need at this stage of life, I want to hear it directly from you.

If you’re a woman in mid-life who is used to being capable, dependable and the one everyone turns to, I’d love to hear your perspective.

It’s just 20 minutes on Zoom for an honest conversation about what this stage of life feels like and what meaningful support could look like.

No coaching. No obligation. No sales call.

If you’d like to help, you can choose a time in the comment section.

The house went quiet. I didn't know what to do with the quiet.

When they were little, going back to school meant one thing. Rest.

When they actually leave, uni, travelling, moving out, there's no rest in it at all.

Just a nervous system that spent twenty years wired to their every noise, suddenly listening for nothing.

Same wiring. New ache. Nobody hands you a manual for rewiring it twice.

If you're in this stretch, I made something small for you. Ten minutes, nothing more.

Term starts again this week.

The school run, the lunches, the diary filling back in. For a lot of women, this is when the pace picks back up, not slows down.

But somewhere in the rush back to routine, there's often a quieter moment. A coffee before the day starts. A pause between drop-off and the next meeting. And for some women, that's when a question shows up. Not sadness exactly. Just something that's been waiting.

What about me, now.

You can be grateful for your life, busy as it is, and still feel like something is missing. It doesn't mean starting over. It may simply mean it's time to come home to the woman who's been there all along.

I'm building something for this season of life. It's called Return to Self.
