Town Walls Tennis Club

Town Walls Tennis Club Town Walls Tennis Club is situated by the River Severn and under the historic town walls of the picturesque medieval town of Shrewsbury.

The present Club was established in the 1950s, when the three courts and the club house were all refurbished.

What a wonderful day! 🎾💚

Town Walls Tennis Club was delighted to host a League of Friends event alongside Shrewsbury Lawn Tennis Club, raising an amazing £2,500 for the Friends of Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital Charity.

It was such a lovely occasion, shared with a fabulous group of ladies. Everything was beautifully organised, the tennis was great fun, and we enjoyed a super lunch together.

A huge thank you to everyone who organised, supported and contributed to making the day such a success. 💚

There was some lovely tennis and a fantastic atmosphere, with TW1 taking the win. A big thank you to everyone who came along to support both teams!

🇳🇵 Coffee Morning in Support of Nepal 🇳🇵

Following the terrible disaster in Nepal, we would like to come together as a club and raise as much money as possible to support those affected.

Please join us at Town Walls Tennis Club on Saturday 19 September, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, for tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes. It will be a lovely opportunity to catch up with fellow members while supporting this incredibly worthwhile cause.

* Katie Boulter — second round
* Harriet Dart — second round
* Francesca Jones — first-round match suspended while leading 6–4

Men

* Jacob Fearnley — second round
* Toby Samuel — second round
* Jan Choinski — still awaiting his first-round match
