Do you love bikes, enjoy getting stuck into a good mechanical challenge, and take pride in helping people get back out riding?

Trek Shrewsbury is looking for a Service Technician to join our team! 🙌

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving and working with people. You’ll be servicing and repairing a wide range of bikes, troubleshooting issues and helping our customers keep their bikes running smoothly. You may even get your hands on some of Trek’s newest models before they hit the shop floor! 🤩

✨ We’re looking for someone who:
🔧 Loves hands-on problem solving
🚲 Has a genuine interest in bikes and servicing
🙌 Is friendly, approachable and great with customers
💡 Is keen to learn and develop their technical skills
🤝 Works well as part of a team
👀 Has great attention to detail

Previous mechanic experience is helpful, but passion, attitude and a willingness to learn really matter too.

Trek Shrewsbury is proud to be supporting Darren Edwards and the Redefining Impossible Foundation as he prepares for an extraordinary challenge.

Our team helped dial in Darren’s incredible Bowhead handbike ahead of his attempt to become the first handbike and tandem team to complete the Traws-Eryri (Trans-Snowdonia) – an epic 200 km journey across the iconic mountains of Snowdonia, from Machynlleth to Conwy. 🚵💪

This is an inspiring challenge that showcases determination, resilience, and the belief that limits are there to be redefined.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Trek Shrewsbury Gravel Ride! 🚴‍♂️🌿

It was fantastic to share the trails, countryside views, plenty of smiles, and some well-earned post-ride snacks with such a great group. Big thanks to Fred(bike fit guru) and Howard(Shropshire Mon) for leading the ride and making it such an enjoyable day.

🚵‍♂️☀️ Summer Solstice MTB Event– Snowdonia MTB Events Delivers Again! ☀️🚵‍♂️

What an incredible day out this past Sunday at another fantastic Snowdonia MTB event! A huge well done to Gareth and his family for once again putting together a truly spectacular event.

Starting at sea level on the beautiful Barmouth Beach and tackling a gruelling 1,800 metres of elevation over 35 miles, this ride certainly wasn’t for the faint-hearted. The climbs were absolutely brutal, but we were rewarded with some of the most breathtaking views Barmouth has to offer😁.

Will and I took our Trek Rail+ 8’s out for the day, and they proved to be the perfect weapon of choice. From technical climbs to fast-flowing descents, the Rail+ handled everything the mountains could throw at us with ease.

Battery performance was equally impressive. After 35 miles of mixed terrain and switching between assist modes, I finished with 17% remaining on the 800Wh battery. Will, however, rolled in with just 12% left and spent the latter part of the ride carefully managing his assistance levels. We suspect he may have been enjoying that full 120Nm of torque in Turbo mode from the very start! 😆

Days like these remind us why we love mountain biking so much — challenging ourselves, riding amazing trails, and sharing the experience with great people.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and a massive thank you again to the organisers. We can’t wait for the next one!
