About us: Established over 30 years ago as a Kayak & Canoe School & Provider of Adventure Activities to a wide range of people from all walks of life & of all ages & abilities as individuals, families & groups. Situated on the banks of the River Severn in Shrewsbury close to the outstanding Shropshire Countryside. Our

Staff are highly experienced and dedicated, all holding the relevant NGB qualifications in their chosen sport. They have been at the forefront of paddle sport in the UK and have a wide experience of paddling in different countries around the world. Drummond Outdoor are licensed by Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.

The 2nd weekend of May was always the date of "The Upper Severn Canoe Rally" It ran for over 20 years attracting 1000s of open canoeists to the delights of the Severn between Welshpool and Shrewsbury.

Sadly the event hasn't run for many years now but is still fondly remembered by many!
