Two years ago, Shropshire Magazine featured Studio Barre and the vision behind it.
At the time, we were still finding our feet, sharing our story and hoping people would connect with what we were building.

Two years later, I couldn’t be more grateful.

Since this article was published, we’ve welcomed so many wonderful clients through our doors, celebrated two studio birthdays, hosted incredible events, expanded our timetable, grown our fabulous team, and continued building clients that mean so much to us.

What started as a dream to combine movement, wellbeing and rehabilitation has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.

To everyone who has attended a class, brought a friend, supported an event, shared a post, or simply believed in Studio Barre - thank you.

This article captured the beginning of a chapter.

Full-body Classical Pilates in 45 minutes - strong, energising, and efficient.

Our Pilates Classic Express class is a focused 45-minute session designed to strengthen, lengthen, and energise the entire body - all before the rest of your day begins.

Rooted in the original method developed by Joseph Pilates, this class follows Classical Pilates principles to improve core strength, posture, flexibility, coordination, and mind-body connection. Every exercise is carefully selected to ensure you experience the same quality and intention of a full-length class, condensed into an efficient and dynamic format.

Suitable for complete beginners through to intermediate levels, Pilates Classic Express is ideal for early risers, busy schedules, and anyone looking for a powerful full-body workout in less time.

Studio 34 is a classic Pilates class inspired by Joseph Pilates’ original 34 mat work exercises. Rooted in foundational principles, this session focuses on strength, alignment, control, breath, and flow.

You’ll move through a series of traditional exercises with precision and intention, emphasising technique, muscular endurance, and smooth transitions. Expect a focused, low-impact yet demanding class that works deeply into the core while building balanced strength and improving posture.

With a refined and mindful approach, Studio 34 is designed to lengthen muscles, enhance flexibility, and develop strength with clarity and control. Each movement is performed with awareness, creating a strong sense of flow while maintaining technical accuracy throughout.

Best suited to those with some Pilates experience, this class offers a return to the essence of the method - disciplined, structured movement that leaves you feeling stronger, more aligned, and deeply connected to your body.

Not suitable for complete beginners or during pregnancy.
