Suffering from Success… For the last few months we have ran Newbie sessions every month to increase accessibility for people looking to give Roller Derby a go with us.

We are now at maximum capacity for Newbies and are going to have to put a pause on New Intakes for the next couple of months while we focus on developing our current Newbies.

If you are interested in giving it a go, please still reach out and we can put you on the waiting list and get in touch when we have space on our Newbie Program.

In 2026, we’re changing how we coach our team, with a focus on bringing more stability and clearer direction. As part of this, we can now say with certainty that our open skates will always take place on the first Wednesday of the month (which, for January, is just two days away!).

Please note that these sessions are not suitable for beginners, and no coaching will be provided. Open skate is intended as an unstructured session for skaters who are confident skating independently.

It’s £10 to come along, so whether you want to work on some skills or just mess around on wheels, drop us a message and let us know if you’re coming.

A fantastic last session before our closed door scrim against Barrow Infernos next week! We're all excited for our first proper game as a full team since champs ended!
A huge thank you to all our guests from , and for joining us! Lovely to have both new and returning faces on track!!

As mentioned above; we have a closed door scrim next week (17/11), so NO training. If you want to come along to one of our training sessions, we'll be back the following week (24/11) for regular shenanigans!
