Wins for both our 1st and 2nd XI see both teams now top of their divisions!

1st XI beat Oswestry 2nd XI by 1 wicket

PCC picked up win over top of the table rivals Oswestry 2nds with just 2 balls left in an exciting game at PCC. Tom Edwards picking up 3 wickets and Seth Williams with 2 meant Oswestry finished their 40 overs 205/6. In return, opening batsman Matt Hartshorn guided PCC to victory with a superb 101* with support from Seth Williams (23) to pick up the win with just 2 balls left in a nervy finish!

2nd XI Beat Quatt 4th XI by 9 wickets

Winning the toss and bowling first, Sudhin Udayakumar (4-24) and Austin Lewis-Lakelin (3-13) were the pick of the bowlers, with Quatt setting a target of 136 for PCC 2nd XI. A disciplined and measured approach from PCC in response saw us reach the target inside 34 overs, with Gaz Downes (51*), Phil Hartshorn (30) and wicket keeper Matty Barlow (23*) steering the village to 20 points.
