Quick recap of the work we did over the weekend and start of the week
… a lot of posts and a lot of rail, 750 metres of it, and we’re chuffed with the result- we hope you all are too.
Just some background to this, our gallops are ALL WEATHER- they’re constructed from silica sand, carpet fibres and shredded rubber, a permeable tarmac base lies beneath which is laid on top of drainage stone and cross drains
These drains feed into the open ditch that runs alongside most of the gallop’s length- this open ditch is the reason we must have rails to keep everyone safe should they veer off track!
