Big step forward for Recoil Scotland this past weekend.

Our first Level 2 IPSC Mini Rifle match was held.

Thanks to everyone that made it happen and thanks to those who supported the match. Here are the results.

Busy weekend at Recoil.

Two safety courses, one long arm, other in short arm. Each had two students who successfully passed to Competition Licence level. Congratulations guys.

Club Shotgun shoot on Saturday, plus the start of the build for next weekend’s L2 Action Air match. Included building new walls to divide up the mezzanine floor into two areas. Thankfully the weather cooled down a bit, so not too hot for shifting props and screens.

New Dawn for Recoil Scotland - or should that be ‘evening’

The club is holding a series of evening practice sessions and the first MR event took place last night.

The sessions concentrate on technique and coping with the challenges a practical stage can present to a competitor. Last night we concentrated on shooting around barricades.

Our friends at Xsite Practical Shooting Club have opened registration for the XPSC Action Air English Nationals 2026.

This Level 3 IPSC-sanctioned match will feature 14 stages and takes place on:

NTSA English Championships 2026.

The NTSA were hosted by North Cotes Butts for this years NTSA English Championships.

It was a glorious day in North Lincolnshire.

The Championships has two elements. Slug matches and a Birdshot Standards competition.

Winner of the Slug event was Ed Murdoch , whilst Guy Thompson triumphed in the Birdshot Standards.
