🏆 Champions League Winners 🏆

What a day for our Northop Hall U8s! 💙⚽

The girls were outstanding throughout the tournament, dominating the group stage before going on to lift the Champions League trophy.

📊 Tournament stats:
⚽ 24 goals scored
🛡️ 0 goals conceded
🔥 Undefeated throughout the entire tournament 🥳

They continued their impressive run with a 2-0 victory over Penycae in the semi-final before defeating ISA 2-0 in the final to become Champions League winners! 🥳🏆

This team is something special. Every challenge put in front of them was met with determination, resilience and incredible teamwork. The effort, battling spirit and desire shown by every single player was on another level.

A massive achievement for all involved and one the girls should be incredibly proud of. 👏🏻💙

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped organise and run the tournament over the weekend. Events like this take a huge amount of work behind the scenes and are greatly appreciated.

Well done to every team that took part. It’s fantastic to see so many girls enjoying and playing football. ⚽👏🏻

☀️⚽ Colwyn Bay FC Juniors Tournament 2026 ⚽☀️

What a fantastic weekend for our girls over a very hot Bank Holiday weekend!

🥈 U8s
A brilliant tournament run ended with a runners-up finish after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Penrhyn Bay U9s in the final.

Conceding in the opening couple of minutes, the girls responded brilliantly and dominated large periods of the game. It just wouldn’t go in despite creating chance after chance. Credit to their goalkeeper, who was outstanding on the day! 👏⚽

💙 U12 Falcons
The Falcons showed tremendous spirit throughout the tournament and scored some wonderful goals, including a few absolute rockets! 🚀⚽

Unfortunately, their journey ended in the Quarter-Finals, but the girls gave everything and represented the club brilliantly.

💙 U13s Girls
An excellent tournament saw the girls reach the Champions League Quarter-Finals before losing 3-0. Across 9 games they:

✅ Won 6
🤝 Drew 1
❌ Lost 2

The girls played some fantastic football throughout and can be incredibly proud of their efforts.

We are incredibly proud of every player who wore the badge this weekend. Their hard work, determination, teamwork and attitude were a credit to the club.

Massive credit to our Ladies team over the BH weekend 👏🏻⚽️

A 2-2 draw away at Newtown to finish the season, but the result only tells half the story.

With just 8 players available, against 11, in tough heat, and after their 3rd long away trip in a row, the effort, determination and character shown by every single player was outstanding 💪☀️

To battle the way they did under those conditions says everything about this group. A brilliant way to round off the season — proud of every one of them 👏🏻💙🧡

All four girls were successful and will start the 26/27 season playing for both Northop Hall Girls & Ladies FC & Connah’s Quay Nomads FC 💙🖤

🏆 Colwyn Bay U8/U9 Girls Tournament Preview

⏰️ 09.15am KO - 12.15pm (Approx Finish)

The Final Day of the 2026 Colwyn Bay Tournament and its the day the Girls get to showcase their skills. Opening up the day is the U8/U9 Girls Tournament and representing Colwyn Bay Football Club are our U8 Wildcats 🟣🐈.

Group A 📊

Joining our Girls for the Final day we welcome local rivals Penryhn Bay and Mynydd Isa U9s and Northop Hall U8s from the Flintshire area, the final team from Wales is Bleiddiaid Llanerch-y-medd from Anglesey. The last three teams all come to us from England, starting with Rivers Juniors Girls from Liverpool, Upton JFC U8 Leopards from Chester and finally West Kirby United Comets U9s travel down from the Wirral.

Best of Luck to our newest Girls team the U8 Wildcats, getting their first taste of the Colwyn Bay Tournament. Also to all of our visitors the best of luck and have a great morning at Stadium Eirias.
