Southwick and Shoreham Cricket Club Winners of the ECB National Award for Connecting Communities Women and girls - Our newly formed team run training sessions and play tournaments.

At Southwick Cricket Club we provide cricket for everyone:
Men - 1st team play in division 7 and 2nd in division 11, our Duke of Wellington Team play friendly matches against other likeminded players. Juniors have four colts sides - U9, U10, U12 & U15 mixtures of boys and girls and run Allstars and Dynamos programs for 5 to 8 year olds. The focus of the club is to provide a welcoming environment

for all players, new and old, and to encourage participation. Games are played at Buckingham Park and Southwick Green whilst practices takes place at nets in Shoreham Academy and at the grounds. If you would like to play cricket, please contact...

U10’s win by one run in the most nail biting game ever.
Congrats to Asher for hitting the winning single and Seb for seeing us home with a couple of solid blocks.
Everyone bowled and batted solidly and i love how the boys on the sidelines came together to cheer us over the line.

Under 9s have had another amazing match today, unfortunately no Cleo as mascot today but we found an adequate replacement in Teddy’s sunglasses 😎 .
The second picture epitomises the team spirit the team possess, watching and cheering their team mates from the boundary throughout the whole innings.
The match itself was played in excellent spirit, some lethal hitting and accuracy with the ball resulted in a convincing win with everyone contributing.
The unbeaten run continues...... keep it up Under9s!!!

Thursday evenings full of cricket for our U13s:
Well well well!!!! That was quite something. What an enjoyable evening for all and would like to give a shout out to Burg Hill, a really great opponent tonight.

A win by two runs!!!!! To the final ball everyone on that field, whether player or parent, were totally invested which is an amazing thing to be part of. A total team performance sprinkled with some magnificent cameos. Nathan putting on a show of utter power with a not out 30, Georgie with a tidy 10, 4 run outs all from different fielders, and the death bowlers (Kyle, Theo and Harry) bowing the last three overs for 4 runs!!! Utterly amazing.
