Sama Southeast Kent Karate Grading

Congratulations to everyone who successfully passed their grading today at St John’s Primary School.

All students demonstrated impressive strength, determination, and focus as they worked toward their next belt in front of Chief Instructor Hanshi Gibson, 9th Dan.

Pictured here is Sensei Whitlock 3rd Dan with her student Artemis Gifford who achieved a 1st Pass which is the highest mark to achieve during Grading .

Sama Southeast Sussex Karate & Kickboxing Grading

Congratulations to everyone who successfully passed their grading today at the Henfield Leisure Centre.

All students demonstrated impressive strength, determination, and focus as they worked toward their next belt in front of Chief Instructor Hanshi Gibson, 9th Dan.

Pictured here is Yondan Edwards, 4th Dan, with her students who are now 1st Kyu—just one step away from Black Belt. Well done to Max Seddington, Cassi Lee, and Eithne Phoon.

Also pictured is Yondan Pink, 4th Dan, with his growing team of students achieving 2nd Brown and Brown Belts. Congratulations to William Harvey, Eadgar Salsbury, Soren Marshall, Cassius Dewsnap, Jonah Fahmy-Warner, Spiro Tata, Viv Craske, Jasper Craske, Nova Craske, and Daniel Wickens.

A special mention goes to two outstanding first-time passes today: Dylan Louden (student of Yondan Pink) and Agnieszka Oleck (student of Sensei Whitlock).

Black Belt & 1st Kyu Advanced Class

Yondan Edwards (4th Dan) and Yondan Pink (4th Dan) generously shared their time and expertise with students in today’s advanced class at Henfield Leisure Centre.

The session was attended by 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Dan Black Belts, along with 1st Kyu students— all committed to developing their Karate as they take the next steps in their Martial Arts journey.

Kihon, Kata, weapons, and self-defence were the core focuses of the class. Every student worked hard and valued the additional instruction provided by the senior instructors. Well Done to everyone who attended .
