Two years searching. Tens of thousands spent before we'd even signed a lease.

We've been looking for the right site since 2024. Not a court in a tent. Not a warehouse with a couple of glass boxes inside. A proper club.

We found this space when it came back on the market after being refused planning for *yet another* storage unit. Three months negotiating with Jim, our landlord. The deeds got signed last week.

We've been spending money on this site for almost a year already. There was no going back.

We open this autumn. The whole journey will be on this page.

For me, Club Padel has always been about more than just the game 🎾

My background is in gyms, where community, family feel and creating the right environment has always been at the heart of what we do - and that’s exactly what I want to bring to Club Padel.

We want to create a space that brings people together, embeds itself in the local community and welcomes all ages and abilities to enjoy the experience.

There’s lots more to come, with founding memberships launching soon in June and July.

I have not slept properly since November.

I run Underground Gym. I sit on Hippowaste's board. I have a family. And I'm building this.

People ask me why I'm doing it.
