*CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT*
We can confirm that manager Rob Gray and assistant Matt Price have departed the club.
Rob joined the club at a very difficult time with the team in transition and struggling. He breathed new life into it with an influx of young talented players and introduce a new style of exciting football that transformed us!
Rob said:
“A Thank You and Farewell to Crusaders Women
After two and a half incredible years, the time has come for me to step down from Crusaders women. The mission from day one was to stabilise the club, keep it alive, and build a lasting foundation for the future.
A massive thank you to my assistant manager, Matt, who is also stepping away from Crusaders, and to every single player and coach who trusted us.
The club is now in a fantastic position. A very talented manager is coming in to take the reins, inheriting a squad that is unified, driven, and ready to push on to the next level.
I wish Crusaders Women all the success in the world. I’ll now be stepping to the other side of the barrier as the Cru Army’s number one fan!”
Matt is departing as he lives the dream travelling the US and Australia! He has enjoyed a fantastic season with us and his enthusiasm and effervescent personality will be hard to replace!
