A busy weekend for the club that started with 2 wins in the CHL before heading down to Bristol where it was 1 win and a loss in the Syd Lawrence t20 Cup (more posts to follow on this one).

Players of the week were Jack Murphy who scored 101 for the 1’s and Craig Robins who scored 53 & took 3 Catches behind the stumps.

It’s Week 8 of the CHL season and both sides are looking for wins after last weekends losses. The 1’s are away to Alcester & Ragley Park Cricket Club, while the 2’s host . On Sunday the club travel to Bristol to take part in the first group stage of the Syd Lawrence t20 Cup. We take on TwyfordhouseCC in our first fixture before playing hosts Bristol West Indian Phoenix CC. Go well all!

A bizarre game at London Road last night between the local rivals that saw Shipston collapse from 39-0 to 83 all out, before bowling the visitors out in the final over to win by 18 runs. The fightback led by captain & player of the match . The win keeps Shipston in a good position to get out of the group but there’s still some big games to come.
