Unfortunately, Shipston Sports Club has once again been the target of mindless vandalism, with further damage caused to both our stand and dugouts.

We are also having to clean up broken glass and rubbish from the area on an almost daily basis. It is simply not on. I’m not quite sure who thinks breaking glass and graffitiing stands and facilities is a worthwhile activity. I hope whoever did this, and whoever continues to do this, feels ashamed. You will not win.

This isn’t just damage to a building – it affects everyone who uses and supports the club. Our players, volunteers, coaches, members, visiting teams, supporters and local families all suffer when incidents like this happen.

We are determined not to let a small minority of vandals win. We are now raising funds to repair the damage and install CCTV cameras to help protect the club and its facilities for the future.

SATURDAY — 2nds Cricket vs Woodbourne, 12:30pm. Bar open from 1:30.
