Match Report

After creating a few good chances early on, we somehow found ourselves 1–0 down at the break — their only shot of the half proving decisive.

The message at half-time was clear: play with more intensity. It took about 10 minutes into the second half for us to really find that extra gear, but once we did, the momentum shifted. Despite sustained pressure, we struggled to break Graven Hill down — until Nick Walker stepped up with a superbly struck effort into the far corner to bring us level.

Soon after, a long throw was cleverly flicked on by Rogers, allowing Wyatt to tap home from close range and put us ahead.

With 15 minutes left, in true Shipston fashion, we conceded to a tidy Graven Hill finish to make it 2–2 and set up a tense finale.

But the lads weren’t done. A late counter-attack saw Moss fire home the winner to seal a dramatic victory.

Man of the Match: Nick Walker — provided the spark to get us back in the game with a brilliant goal, initiated the counter-attack for the winner, and worked tirelessly out of position all afternoon. A top performance. 👏⚽

Match Report

The game started slowly, with SWIS missing a few early chances to take the lead. However, the boys soon stepped up massively and turned the momentum in their favour with an outstanding team performance.

There were six different goal scorers on the day, showing the strength and depth across the squad. Nick Shurmer opened the scoring, followed by goals from Brooke Sutton, Seb Schumann, Pacey Clifton, Gary Smith, and Will Burgess — a fantastic spread of contributions across the team.

At the other end, Connor “The Cat” Begley pulled off a brilliant double save to keep the opposition at bay, producing a moment of real quality when it mattered most.

Special mentions go to Shurm and Brooke for two standout performances, while big Burgess celebrated the result like it was the FA Cup Final — passion and energy from start to finish!
