After our fifth Stableford League event - a lovely course at Forest of Galtres Golf Club, nestled in the peaceful countryside near York. This stunning par-72 parkland course features USGA standard greens and year-round playability, offering an enjoyable challenge for both members and visiting golfers alike ☀️

We are following Michael Woods too - every step of the way to the top of Mount Everest!

Stay safe 🏔️💪🏼

We don't know about you, but we are following Michael Woods every step of the way to the top of Mount Everest! We are amazed at all he has achieved up to now and the determination and strength (mental and physical) he has shown 👏🏽

Today he reached Camp 3, tomorrow he continues to Camp 4 and then Friday arriving to 'the death zone' which is the highest point and the most riskiest point 🗻

We are very proud to be sponsoring Michael's challenge and we are all sending our luck. Climb safe!🤞🏾

YDGS played their fourth Stableford League match at Brough Golf Club, a mature 18-hole inland parkland course in East Yorkshire, known for its accuracy-demanding layout rather than sheer distance. The 6,000+ yard course features tree-lined fairways, well-guarded greens, and a scenic design, offering a stiff but enjoyable test. It is often considered a hidden gem of the region.

Next Saturday 17th January will be at The Manor Golf Club at 2pm-3.30pm. They have a brilliant coach Mark & Sue Matthews will be there to help out also a BSL interpreter too.
